Every tank has a weakness! Its a fact, knowing is half the battle! Point and click ain't gonna do much unless your willing to get annihilated.

But the first thing you MUST know is DO NOT EVER LET THE KV-2 LOOK AT YOU, this may sound hard but one of its biggest weaknesses is has a very slow turret and turning speed! A light tank will do PERFECTLY (An M18 is great for doing this!)

If you are not a light tank/tank destroyer then you should always consider shooting the turret sides and back, if you're a light tank with a good cal. gun then try shooting the horizontal turret drive, suspension, Engine (For Fire) and many places to slow down the turret and tank from trying to aim at you. Because if it does, your dead like THAT.

Now for its weakpoints, The BEST place to hit a KV-2 is the turret! The sides and the back of it, shooting the front will do nothing. Why would you even shoot the front? if you can it most likely means its looking at you... BOOM! All you have to do is get around the KV-2's slow turret and hit the back! Why? The turret has 4/6 of its crew inside it and has 2 ammo racks on the sides!(sometimes). This will totally cripple the KV-2!

Another good place to shoot is the KV-2's "Cheeks". In between its side and frontal armor of the turret! If you cant get around the tank, try shooting there! Make sure you have a good angle on it too!

The KV-2 is also a very easy target for Aircraft, Aircraft are VERY effective againest them. But we are talking about tank battles right? So lets stick with that.

As I said earlier, the KV-2 has a major weakness, speed. It has a VERY slow reload time and has a slow rotation speed (body and turret). Use this to your advantage by having a well-armed light tank! A M3 Stuart may never do the job, so look for more buffier light tanks like the M18 or M41A1 Walker Bulldog (American) or Pz.II H (with PzGr40 Ammo) will do!

If you're not going for a speedy tank (which I dont recommoned).. the only other way is either having another KV-2 OR having a tank much higher Tier higher than the KV-2 (remember to still point for the side/back or the turret)

Make sure you have good AP rounds too! HE rounds will always be nothing againest the KV-2.

The KV-2 is a beast, its one of the most used USSR tanks out there. Don't think that this guide will make you a GOD up on KV-2's. They will always be the One-shot wonder, if they get an aim on you, you are DEAD. Always be careful when versing these guys, they aren't your normal tank.

Basically the only way of killing this tank Is:
-Having a mobile tank that can easily go behind it and not letting its turret catch up on you.
-Another KV-2
-A tank thats higher Tier than it (Tier 5 most likely)

For everything else, have the bigger gun.
