Introduction
Navigating the Workshop
The most visited and voted up maps are spotted on the main page of the Team Fortress 2 Map Workshop.

There is a search bar at the top of the page, which you can use in order to find the map you're looking for.

You can also sort maps by their game modes with the sidebar.

Near the top of the page you can sort maps by the most popular and the most recent ones.

Some maps might be included in so-called map packs. In order to switch to collections, go to the "Browse" tab and click on the "Collections" link.
Downloading User-Made Maps
You need to subscribe to a map before you can download one. You can do it by clicking on a map's thumbnail in the Workshop. It's a good idea to look at the map description and tags. Map authors usually leave some important information in these sections.

After getting to the map page, click on the green "Subscribe" button.

You'll get a notification after subscribing to a map. Subscription is a good method to be sure that you are using the most up-to-date map version. Once the map author decides to update their masterpiece, you'll automatically pick up the update with each TF2 restart. If you are currently playing, you'll need to restart TF2 in order for changes to apply.

If you want to delete and unsubscribe from a map, visit your Subscribed Items page. Find the map you want to unsubscribe for and click on the Unsubscribe button.
Playing on User-Made Maps
In the TF2 main menu find the "Servers" and click it.

Next, click on the "Workshop" dropdown menu of the Server Browser and select "Workshop Items" – you'll see listing of servers available with your subscribed maps.

After downloading the map you can invite your friends on Steam. Connection times may vary due to map size.

Use gamebannana, all you need to do is find the map you want on the site; find download, and when you download it just put it in your maps directory then you're done (the location: program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/maps) if you don't get the download and directory part you could probably find a video telling you how to get used to putting media in the tf directory ;(
