Chapter 1: Noob Demo
Noob Demoman
Scrumpy Noobus
Status: Very Common
These are the most common of all the species of Demoman, despite being ridiculously daft. They always aim directly for their enemy, unaware that their grenades fly in an arch. Because of this, they often just use stickybomb traps to (hopefully) kill their prey. This is rarely fruitful, as they are poor at laying traps, and thus are easily avoided. They can be annoying to enemies because of their stubborn habit of obviously lacing the base entrances with stickies, thus forcing them to take a longer route, increasing their possibility of dying. They are also cruel and humorless, endlessly harassing weaker foes, especially Noob Medics, their natural prey. Spies can easily kill them, so they won't stay an obstacle long.
Chapter 2: The DemoNester
DemoNester
Scrumpy Baitboi
Status: Somewhat Common
Coexisting among nests of Engineer, the DemoNester gives extra protection to the nest in exchange for ammunition and health. They lay traps of sticky bombs on the Intel or entrances to provide safety for any distracted Engies repairing their builds. They are quite friendly, and in their spare time they enjoy group taunts such as the Conga or high-five. There is also a subspecies that prowls through the enemy base, known as the Demosite.
Demosite
Scrumpy Baitboi Parasiticus
Status:Somewhat Uncommon
These crafty Demomen slink about the enemy base, littering it with traps to kill its prey. They are known to work with other parasites, especially Engies.
Chapter 3: Sticky Jumper
Sticky Jumper
Scrumpy Kahboomus
Status: Somewhat Common
This creature branched off of the Noob Demo ages ago, when the Sticky Jumper was introduced. They are paranoid about their health, so they know every location that has medkits. They also prefer to stay away from direct fights, preferring to pick off foes from the shadows, or find an alternate route into the enemy base. Like most Demomen, the Sticky Jumper is very friendly and social towards teammates. Because of their harmless bombs, they love to have contests to see who can launch themselves the highest or farthest.
Chapter 4: The Demoknight
Demoknight
Scrumpy Chivalrous
Status: Uncommon
These noble creatures are wildly successful in the fact that, instead of focusing on bombs, they prefer to charge headfirst into battle. It takes ages to perfectly master the process of charging into your foe and decapitating them. Because of this, few Demoknights make it to their second match. Despite this, Demoknights can be found in almost every gamemode. They come in several varieties, and subspecies aren't uncommon, such as the Sloth Demoknight, and the Kamikaze Demoknight.
Sloth Demoknight
Scrumpy Chivalrous Slowasasnailus
Status: Somewhat Rare
These guys are basically just a normal Demo with a sword, and no charge ability. Thought to be an early ancestor of every modern Demoknight, they still succeed, but have been pushed into trade servers and KotH servers, where they succeed better than their more dangerous cousins.
Kamikaze Demoknight
Scrumpy Chivalrous Kamikaze
Status: Somewhat Uncommon
This subspecies of Demoknight is self explanatory. They charge into an enemy base without stopping for medkits or to avoid danger. Their only goal is to cut down as many enemies as possible before they die. This leaves less challenge for their teammates to deal with, so as thanks, many Kamikaze Demoknights are accompanied by a Medic to increase efficiency.
Chapter 5: Sticky Glider
Sticky Glider
Scrumpy Avius
Status: Rare
This is one of the more unusual species of demoman, and one of the few TF2 species capable of any form of flight. However, this isn't powered flight, as the Sticky Glider needs to launch itself into the air in order to glide across the map. It shares this ability with a species of Soldier, the Rocket glider. I don't know very much about this species aside from the fact that they can be easy to deal with. A raining barrage of bombs is bad unless a sniper, the natural predator of this species, can pick them off from higher ground. They are crafty and difficult to spot, but they glide too slowly to escape most of their predators.
Chapter 6: The Caber Bull
Caber Bull
Scrumpy Ebrioseritus
Status: Endangered
The Caber Bull is a very rare species of Demoman that is very brave in battle. They wield the highly explosive Caber Toss, which is usually a dangerous weapon on it's own, as well as the ability to charge, surprising foes long enough to blow them up. Their attack plans are simple, charge at an enemy and blow them up. This makes them a bit innacurate, aside from the most strategic (If you can call them that) Caber Bulls. They are a perfect example of convergent evolution(when two species evolve similar biological components despite being unrelated) in the fact that even though the Caber Bull isn't related to the Demoknight, it still developed the ability to charge. Sadly, because of their risky method of hunting, as well as being in competiton with the far more succesful cousin the Demoknight, this species is starting to go extinct.

- Fun fact: The species name for the Caber Bull comes from the Latin terms Eritus and Ebriosus, meaning Angry and Drunkard respectively.

The Leech Zatoichi Demoman
Scrumpy Katanus Explosivus
Extremely Rare
Not found in any particular map, this guy uses the Sticky Jumper to launch themselves to the enemy side, and go on a killing spree with their Iron Bomber/Zatoichi combo. Much like the BladeBomb, he tries to get as many kills as possible while keeping his health up at the same time. The Leech Zatoichi shoots an enemy with the Iron Bomber, then finishes them off with the Zatoichi. He can easily retreat or move to larger groups of enemies with the Jumper. I have not seen many myself, but they hit like trains.

The Trapper Demoman:
Scrumpy Tarpius
Uncommon
This guy sets some top notch traps, possible of slaying groups of people in sets of diferent explosions or a single explosion, uses mostly the ScoRes,is found alone or with engineers,he is really uncommon these days because StickySpammers are taking its place

Push Master Demoman
Scrumpy Dominus Dis

Status: Extreamly Rare

I have seen only 6 within my entire carrer in TF2 and have been fasinated by thier style to the point of trying to emulate it.
They tend to have a Loose Cannon, Sticky Jumper, and any Melee Weapon. They hide and place stickys in small clumps, useing the Sticker Jumper as an unconventional way to push enemies off ledges and or into enviromental hazzards. They are patient and generaly freindly unless you are about to give away the possission of their Traps, or if they are of the more brash and competitive kind. On one of the two occasions I have seen one work with scouts in order to lead enemies to the traps. They also use the Loose Cannon as a more active way to push enemies over board. The Melee Weapon very's but is more commonly seen with an Eyelander, or the Scottsmans Skull Cutter

Resistance Demo

Scrumpy Trickus
Status: Rare

This speciesof demoman is quite, rare. They often use the Scottish Resistance to fool their prey with their sticky bombs. They mostly lay traps in hallways, as they will plant bombs on the ceilings, and the floors. But due to this, it has to be a small (not too small) tunnel. Afterwards, they wait for their prey, they first trigger the floor bombs, and if that doesn't work, they trigger the ceiling bombs. It takes a strategic timing and placing, but hey eventually succeed.

I find the lack of the species of demoknight that uses charge, launcher, and sword, slightly disturbing. For I am a demoknight that shall sue my launcher to pick off fleeing targets if my charge is, rechargeing, or for use against groups.
Prefered loadout
Stock launcher (with any additional status (strange, spec, prof)
Tide (or any shield)
eyelander (or any other sword)

Goofy(demo)man

Scrumpy Kahboomus Goofii
Status:Incommon

These little jumping creatures like to jump around with their Not damaging weapons(Only with a melee on their side, anything but no Caber)and prey on sniper nests and solo heavies, usually they live in Ctf or Koth servers, but as Snipers get more aware of the incredible world of looking Up,they have since lost most of their 2Fort/Turbine houses, now reside on Sawmill/Double Cross servers, they are a little territorial, but a sandvich and a little crouching will make you really welcome to their place.

Demopan

Scrumpy Paninyourfaceus
Habitat : Medieval and Trade servers.
Status : Near extinction

These "Creatures" are demos that throw out the form of exploding. And instead hit people with a pan. These creatures are near extinction due to the decline of Stout Shakos (the demo pan's main mate) and have been repopulated with very odd species of demo pans due to the idiot ones mating with the Steel Shako. Which can cause in mutated demo pans with sunglasses instead of their usual Shutter shades. The bounty hat gene is very rare and are usually replaced with a Tricorn. You can also tell the age of a demo pan by its hat. A bounty hat means its a kid. Treasure hat means it's a teen And a demo pan with the HOUWAR is an adult. The HOUWAR demo pans are the eldest. They know the best ways to attack with their weapons. Most demo pans consist of using a Grenade launcher. The Chargin' targe. And their favorite. The frying pan.
