so i am on windows 10 and i did pretty much everything guides mention but found no solution. however, this is what i did to get my game to run on windows 10 with a 4k tv screen as a monitor, go to rayne.exe (in the steam folder/bloodrayne folder) and left click it (or right click it if right handed) and select properties, from there, click the compatiblity tab and uncheck the box that says "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" i unchecked that box and the game runs fine. no need to do any affinity setting stuff or anything like that. thx anyways for the guide. hope it at least helped some! ALSO, you have to do this everytime,sadly, it works just like the affinity thing, but just in case for w/e reasons the affinity thing still doesn't work for you (like it did me) try that. just note every time you launch the game you have to uncheck that box before you launch it.

oh np with the reply back, i ended up finding a fix (for myself at least) so i did post it to see if it would help someone else. i will post it on this comment section to (if you don't mind) but yah i have no idea why this solution was working for alot of people and not me, trust me i tried pretty much every guide on steam and i don't know if it was because i'm using the 4k monitor or what but nothing the guides said would work. here is what i did. (gonna make a new comment just in case it doens't all fit in this one)

Sorry Rayne... Im a bit late on the reply... But you are better off getting the GOG version of Bloodrayne - its apperently been patched and there is barely no issues present with that version whilst the steam version has several bugs and glitches that occur on modern systems.

i still get black screen. windows 10. using a 4k TV as a monitor tho, don't know if that could be the problem, but it does the intro just fine, when it gets to the menu it's black screen, i can hear the sounds when i select things and if i just push enter (to start game) i hear all the dialouges and the start of the first land etc. just can't see anything. any other suggestions? thx
