Description
The “LSV”, or as it is more often referred to as the “Scavenger”, is Void Corp’s Light Salvage Vehicle. Equipped with two grinders paired with landing gear designed for auto grappling with whatever is being salvaged, the LSV is capable of not only grinding down derelicts, but also stabilizing them against the unintentional nudges which are nearly inevitable during salvage operations.

The LSV along with Void Corps other light utility vehicles is designed to operate from a station or, more often, the Void Corp Operations Support Vessel. The OSV provides all the functionality the LSV itself lacks. I.e. oxygen generation, large storage capacity, long range transport, medical facilities, defense, etc.

Features:
• Forward facing grinders (2)
• Forward facing spotlight
• A grinder safety sensor which automatically disables the grinders if a person is detected within close range
• Keel mounted docking connector
• Keel mounted landing gear (2)
• Keel mounted docking camera and remote – the remote is oriented so that a pilot in the cockpit can control the ship via this remote while viewing the docking camera without the disorientation that normally comes with controlling a ship from a different perspective (i.e. with this remote looking through the downward facing camera, up is still up, down is still down, etc.)
• Forward flight remote control tied into a timer – these can be used in tandem to facilitate autopilot functionality
• Beacon (1), Antenna (1), Laser Antenna (1)

Specifications:
• Mass: 24,271 kg
• Power: 16 Small Reactors (1.6 MW)
• Thrust: 144 KN forward, 72 KN port/starboard, 72 KN retro, and 72 KN vertical
• Maneuvering: 2 gyroscopes (12,136 kg/gyro)
• Acceleration: 0 – 104.7 m/s in 17.5 seconds
• Weapons systems: 1 Gatling gun (scavenging can be dangerous!)
• Tools: 2 grinders
• Cargo Capacity: 34,902 L
• Life Support: 1 Oxygen Tank

*Made without mods and fully compatible with survival

Happy engineering!

Alright, I unpeted your peeve ;) They have quotes!
EdgarAllanPwn  [author] 16 Sep, 2015 @ 9:48pm
Thanks Kitsune, glad you like that; and, thanks for pointing out the inconsistency - it was an oversight. I did mean to have those quoted and I didn't know they weren't :)
KitsuneKas 16 Sep, 2015 @ 9:25pm
Yes, but you don't use quotes in all of them, just some. That's what's annoying. There are no quotes around Shipwright or Prospector, for example.

I get why the quotes are there, Just saying consistency would be nice. It's a pet peeve of mine, to be honest. Come up with a naming convention and stick with it.

Aside from the consistency, I do like how you named your more recent ships. Having the abbreviated name (like LSV and so forth) right after the ship series name makes it really easy to find the exact ship you're looking for quickly.

In the name of the ship? If that's what you mean - those with quotes are just supposed to be (RP/lore) nicknames; whereas, those without quotes are the official name

Use quotes or no quotes, make up your mind. It's annoying. >:C

its a good blueprint, the olny problem i found with it is the landing gear break off the front easily
