Poznań, Poland (European Theme)

Poznań is the capital city of the Voivodeship of Greater Poland (Wielkopolska); located on the middle course of the River Warta, the city is surrounded by fields of crops, villages and artifacts... Poznań was the second capital city of Poland, after Gniezno which is located North East of the city itself - in the same Voivodeship. Poznań is located not directly on the river - but around it as the river floods in early Spring, late Winter; in the floodplains are paths and lush grassy fields - a perfect place for a walk. The city of Poznań is known for its colourful townhouses and its Town Hall and Town Square, with such rich past and history the city is a key spot for tourists and business people willing to invest in and around the city for its splendid location and suffisticated transport: the Poznań Ławica International Airport in the city's North West and the A2 Motorway located South of the city. Poznań is surely and beautiful city, throughout the last one thousand years the city has grown and developed into a cultural and economically vital city.
