Need to know how to make money? Boy, you've come to the right place. In my nearly 1,000 hours of Garry's Mod (starting in about 2011) I have seen so many ways to make money in DarkRP it's not even funny. Seriously.

The easiest way to make money on a server that doesn't have gardening is to sell stuff. Cooks (not Meth cooks), Gun Dealers, the like, can all sell stuff to make money. Make sure to charge a little extra to make a profit on things. The best way to sell stuff like guns is to either snag the place where one person puts something through, the person on the other end closes it, takes it, and puts their thing through (generally this is the Gun Shop on most servers) on rp_downtown or make a fading door system similar to this.

Meth Cooking, at first, may look like it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible, but it's actually really easy! Refer to this video on how to cook meth in DarkRPSome tips for cooking Meth:

• Make sure EVERYTHING is at a ten when make Phosporous and Crystallized Iodine. You get the most money if everything is at all tens.
  
• Make sure your stuff is protected by fading doors!
  
• Make sure to own a car if you're playing on a map like Evocity
  
• Ask in OOC where the meth addict is if you don't know. If someone goes to the addict and waits for you to kill you, that was metagaming and RDM and you should report them to an admin.

Weed servers aren't really as prominent now that Meth cooking exists, but they're there. I haven't really seen them as much. The way weed growing works is that you have to own marijuana seeds, and a pot. Once the seeds are in the pot the weed will grow, and will eventually be full size and able to be sold. Some servers will also force you to maintain the plants by watering them.

You NEED to own a gun for these two, because the cops will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ come running and WILL kill you/arrest you.

Don't even bother with printers unless the server has printer upgrades. They are actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless without upgrades. Not kidding.

Some servers will have a gardening addon, and this is actually the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fastest way to make money. How it works is that you buy a greenhouse box, a bunch of seeds, and plant them at your house and wait about a minute for them to be able to be harvested.
Watermelons actually fetch about 144k for 9 of them, per 1.5 minutes. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP.

You need the console and a gun for this to work properly. First, open up the console (~ key) and type this: bind (key) "say /advert MUG! Drop (money) or die! (time limit). running/pulling a gun=failrp"
Substitute (key) with the key you want to bind it to, (money) with the max amount the server allows you to mug, and (time limit) with how long you will give people to drop money.

• Make Fading Doors! They will help protect your base, and they have to keypad to get in, which is louder than lockpicking!
• Use the one way visibility prop!
  
• Double Barrel shotgun is a oneshot headshot at point blank, and you can use RMB to fire both barrels!
