FFmod Reduced Friendly Fire

Description
This mod just increases the area in which the ranged units decide if there is a friendly near their target or not. It's still not perfect but the balance between the ration of FF kills you have is much smaller than the penalty for not shooting at the enemy in fear of friendly casualties.
In vanilla especially Javelins or throwing axes are just team killer weapons. With this they work just fine.

Here is a stricter version of my FFmod for anyone who likes their unit even more careful where they shoot:

I don't know how you came up with your numbers for this mod, but it works perfectly. Now the only thing I have to worry about is those darn arrow towers.

Will you please update this mod?

Interesting point, I never tried with siege weapons since I use them only manually and than hold fire. In theory it should work for them as well, but I cannot guarantee that they won’t cause friendly fire to some degree.

I find the biggest problem are not throwing weapons, but the small onagers. Hope this will solve the issue

Thank you for this mod. Have had no issues and friendly fire is actually reasonable now.

I don't have 1295 medieval installed but it should work with any mod that doesn’t change this behavior. And if a mod does that than the fix the friendly fire mechanic so it should be fine either way, no crashes should occur with my mod as well, it's very small.

@kAs3
sorry I won't mod anything new at the moment, but in Rome 2 it's not so bad as in Attila it think

It is a very little mod and compatible with almost anything, the worst case scenario is my values are over writte nby an other mod and the game uses that ones. So its always safe to use with any mod no crashes should occur. Compatible to any patch of Attila
