AI Bevaiour patterns and some adivce on how to abuse them
With the addition of the realms in ver.0.28 the game got its first proper iteration of singleplayer mode and co-op. This means playing the AI. Despite siginificant starting advanatges the AI is still very easy to beat. This guide aims to tell you just how to make sure you show the AI where it's place's at without needing to call for help and to share the gold spoils of your victory with other realm adventurers. For the moment this guide will mostly describe the AI behaviour without many recommendations as to how to abuse these patterns, if there's desire for more such recommendations, I will add them accordingly.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION
This will make short work of AI, so I moved it to the top of the guide. If you like to strategize and learn how to punish the AI for its mistakes you might wanna skip this subsection. If you're looking for a sure-fire way to beat the AI without needing to exhibit any particular tactical prowess, this is probably the best way to go abou it.

Go with a stuff of undead with an undead mega spell (rattle of skeletons, scourage of vampires or pack of hounds; the cheaper it is, the better), large deck size, the sorcery talisman - 3 spells matching stuff start in hand. You might wanna bind a chaos shift for even better result, you can afford that tempo loss, once your undead are out, the AIs mercenaries aren't getting through towards you anyway. The AI has no clue how to play vs undead, in fact I'd argue it does an even worse job than vs growths. This config is an AI clearer, you won't even have to stop and think what you're doing and you'll turn the AI into minced meat.

If there's a desire for me to explain how to play this build, let me know in the comments.

ILLUSSIONS
The current AI casts many illusions. It will usually illusion likely casts i.e. 70% and above. It will also tend to illussion spells of the more prevelant alignement more often i.e. if the match is law heavy, it's much more likely that the AI will cast a law illussion rather than a chaos illussion.

DISBELIEVING
Once the AI finds an illussion of yours via either a kill or a successful disbelieve it will continue attempting to disbelieve other creatures o yours. For this reason I advise casting illussions of creatures that are unlikely to die, or at least will do so as late in the match as possible. For me, and I imagine for most others, that would be ranged creatures and mounts.

TALISMANS
The AI doesn't activate any talismans

CREATURE CASTS
The AI tends to use likely casts i.e. 70% and above adjusting for the current alignment.

TACTICS
The AI pays no attention to map control and elevation, make sure you push your AI opponent to the map's edge, it will be much easier achived than vs a human opponent. Encricle the AI, block with your sturdiest creatures, and claim the best elevation.

The AI will attack your creatures no matter what. It's easy to tempt him into attacks from low ground onto high ground, use it to your advanatge. It will attack with all it's got, which makes paladins amazing creatures that can obliterate all AI's forces even in a single turn when placed correctly. If given a chance, always prirotize recruiting mercenary paladins.

BOLT & BLOB TACTICS
The AI doesn't "count hexes," which is another way of saying that it pays no attention to bolt and bolb range. Binding these two spells vs AI is even better than vs human oppoents. On the other hand the AI will bolt you, so you should mind the range of 3 as you would in a match vs a human opponent.

GROWTHS
The AI will often target growths without prioritizing correctly or taking unneccessary risks i.e. kill a blob which doesn't enguld a creature when he could target one of his blobbed creatures to kill it or approach a shadow tree and attack it with his unmounted wizard. In general, the AI is keen on casting growths and you can expect to see it vine itself in, so it'd worth keeping some magic attacks handy to be able to break through such a barrier and avoid the match ending in a draw.

I haven't noticed undead having it easy as AI is fond of hellhounds, but i'll check for it now. The tips on AI illusions are helpful. A.I. doesn't account for activation of talismans. +1 spell range and celeris win. So does Tangled Vines and Dispel in general. A.I. is more likely to put its illusions in harm's way. That's a tell. If A.I. has a magic sword remember that it can cast windwalker and potentially come in range of you.

The AI NEVER casts illusions against me.
