This guide will show how to pass 60 levels for the last achievement just for 15-20 minutes.

UPDATE 2022

The game was updated, so it no longer has configuration window by default.

But thanks to BinkerZ there is a simple way to get the configuration window back, you just need to hold the Left Shift button when launching the game (press the PLAY button in Steam and hold the shift button for a while).

Preparations

Lets start!

First you need to bind 1 key for fast playing.
In Hexcells Configuration window go to "Input" tab and bind any key for Alternate left and right click key. It MUST be the SAME key. For example I used "left ctrl".

Then press play and start the game.

Enter level seed

Next go to Level generator and ener your own seed.
I used this 01846780 pretty small field c:

Then press the blue hexagon button to play.

Play it 60 times :3

All you need is simple play this level 60 times.
Click on hexes using "left ctrl" or key you binded before
You don't need to think, just click.

When you finish it just click restart and do it again.

Need about 10-15 seconds to finish one level. And about 15 minutes to finish it 60 times~

If you have a Joypad with TURBO

Use AutoHotkey as mouseclicker

I use left click instead, and use AutoHotkey as mouseclicker. With this, I just move the mouse around, and just move the mouse to retry button.
This is my autohotkey code. F8 is the on/off for the clicker.

F8:: If Switch := Not Switch SetTimer TheLoop, 1 Else SetTimer TheLoop, Off Return TheLoop: click Return

You can also left-/righ-click at the same time, this will always clear the node with single click. Doing that, I finish 01846780 in 12 seconds on aveage

@Amy if you're an achievement hunter, doing this normally may get dull very quickly. This is in no way challenging to complete, but just a time investment. I like the Hexcells games, but I found infinite mode to get boring after just 10 or so levels

Why to cheat? I don't get it. If you like the game just play a few levels once in a while - and you'll get it in some time.

Even though I didn't use Left Ctrl. I still did it pretty fast. What helped me was that I remembered well about where the blue ones are so I do all blue and then all black lastly. And I typed as fast as I could. The fastest time I know was 18 seconds. Can you beat the record without left Ctrl.? Feel free to try and share your reasons on how you beat the record or not...

As of July 2022, the configuration menu shown in this guide doesn't exist anymore as far as I can tell. However you do not have to roll back to a beta version. You can hold the Left Shift button when launching the game and you get a configuration window with a tab where you can assign Left Ctrl to both commands.

I used the 01846780 seed mentioned in this guide and it's around 15 seconds per attempt. It was most comfortable for me to use Left Ctrl and my left thumb.

I too came across a very easy level: 15032022.

Just hit retry when you complete it – it takes less than a minute to complete.

Hey! It seems the game was updated and now starts without configurator.
I see 2 options:
1) I think the easiest way is to point on hex with your mouse and press "a" + "s" keys at the same time ('cause it is default keys).
2) Install the rollback version of the game (right click on the game in library -> Properties -> Betas -> rollback). Now configuration window is back.
