NightLiveStreetLightsMod v1.1.0

This mod adds to every street light a lightspot. You also can configure the light mood.

Needs moving sun mod Moving sun mod

This is the first release of a series of mods that aim to light up your city.

C:S 1.1.1c compatible

You can post a RGB value + Name for new light moods. I will add them.



Release v1.1.0 (bugfix & feature release)
  • new options: global lights on / off, set light mood, set segment scann rate (configuration is saved)
  • compatible to all 81 tiles
  • optimized which lights to render
  • better performance for big cities (eg. Manhattan New York or Atoll)


Features:
  • Lights on all street lights
  • Lights light up in random order (night) / go out in random order (day)
  • great performance
  • no flickering
  • lights are also updated when streets are removed / added
  • select different light moods


Known "Bugs"
  • Not all lights are perfect placed, eg. on curved / some edge cases
  • Change to eg. water pipe building relights the city


ToDo List (if possible to implement)
  • different light moods for different areas eg. industrial area sodium vapor, high residential led, highways mercury vapor
  • flickering lights at abandoned / burned down buildings
  • electricity consumption
  • UI to select which street types to light, how many lights on / off, start / stop scanning for new streets

MODERS NEADED !!!!
this game is amazing but theres something missing , i would really like to see the streat lights going off while there is a blackout in the city , like simcity 4 , so please moders if you can get this dream come true this game would be complete :) so for more details on what you have to do , u should let the streat lights power source connected to the city power , so when theres a blackout in some part of the city you'll see every thing dark how cool is that !

Hello, it was a great mod before AD, but I wanted to know if you'll update it for the night/day cycle ?

I'd really like to be able to chose the color of the light like you mod allow it to be done.

very soon colossal order will be release a new expansion called after dark this has full day and night cycle, streets lights and building lights, things that will be do in the begging of the game, many conformist dont care about it, but a true day and night cycle brings more realism to the game, sorry for my english folks!, grettings.

could you possibly make it possible to toggle the lights off in rural areas?

@informmanuel hi info, i really like your mod and I have been using it in my game ^^ I have a suggestion that can u make those lights closer in densed area, e.g. roads in New Youk Boradway are highly illuminated instead of having some dim part in between the lights. thxx :)
