I will try giving some extra details, but I am not the first one in this thread that found it.
There is a "hidden" turning block after the first row of spikes, you can access it if you somehow dodge the ground spikes (I was able to do that both fat and skinny, but it is unreliable), but that is not what you are expected to do!
You are supposed to use the trampoline and boost over the cake and the turning block above it!
Even after the screen turns, your momentum will make you grab the cake and you will be able to enter the "hidden" area without much trouble now!
From there, it is a literal cake walk!
I know this thread probably won't get updated, but this method is more reliable AND looks cooler
