If you're using a hover medic, try to position the nanos so that as many of them as possible can shoot all around you, so that if needed you can zip back and forth avoiding plasma shots and still heal effectively without caring where you're pointing.
Another:
Nanos are phenominal at destroying towers, just make sure they can shoot upwards.
If your with the pushing group, you may notice one or two of the front tanks line up beside cover they are not useing, this is for the medic! plz use this so you don't get your nano's shot off. Not only will this lead to your prolonged life, but u can then keep the front tanks healthy, and the longer your alive and healling that front tank, the more points you will get (not to mention your team will win that engagement, and probably the battle).
Also, use your RANGE . Nano's may have the shortest range (other than tesla) but it is far better than 'point blank'. There is no reason to be directly behind the point man. If there is no cover nearby, your allies will be moveing to cover. Healers complainning about the unit they are trying to heal backing into them is only showing off their own noobness, so don't bother. You have more range than you realize, use it.
