4-Level Stack Interchange 60x60

Descripción
4-Level Stack Interchange 60x60 by Aquilifer

Expensive solution, but it is one the fastest interchange types!

Stack interchanges feature left turning ramps in a minimal curve, this requires expensive long spanning ramps.

My design has 2 left-turning ramps going up about 130 feet or 40 meters up over the graded crossing, which is actually in the minimum constraints of this type of design where all the ramps meet up at the center widened median of the through roads. This has been achieved by sinking the ground a little to create a small artificial valley of sorts.

If you are spotting for a place for two highways to cross try to find a flat area with a small valley or depression in the ground.

It is quite big and steep however, the curving ramps need space across the required sliproads aside the highway which you could have used for something better, if you want to consider a very novel design specifically to save space I suggest to check out my "Monument of Capacity" design!

Yes, if I would come back to C:S I would redesign the slipways to less than 45-degree angles and introduce a better geometric design for the left/right turn section in addition to curving the flyovers as you describe, made possible by the 1u trick to angle the slipway for a gentle curve starting from less than 45 degrees. http://imgur.com/dkbMYWn

I would also release some of my hidden gems of intersection design which I never bothered to make a release for... I hope some good DLC will come for C:S soon to inspire me to do this!

I see you went with a very similar design to what I'm working with. did you try curving the flyovers to pick up more speed and reduce size?
