This guide is part of a series on glitched items in TF2. For the purposes of these guides, the term 'glitch' will refer to an item that:
Has a quality/attribute/level that is different from that normally possible; and/or
Has a quality/attribute/level that is not normally possible; and/or
Is missing an attribute that is not normally present; and/or
Has only be seen as a result of Steam Support mistakenly (or purposefully) granting it

Gift Wrap allows players to wrap and trade a lot of different items regardless of tradability provided they have the schema attribute 'can_gift_wrap: true'. When the receiving player unwraps the item it it given a permanent 'Gift from: gifter's name' tag. There are some items that Gift Wrap cannot be used on, yet they can be found with 'Gift from' tags thanks to Secret Saxtons, Pile o' Gifts, Pallet of Crates, and other similar items.
