First of course, if you do not have Hamtchi you will need to install it. you just simly go to this link here https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx and download the unmanaged version. Was it is downloaded you just install it to your computer. Once it is set up and you have luanched it, it will ask for you to sign in. This is something new to hamtchi. Just simply make the account, and sign in. now your Hamatchi is ready to use

Now that your Hamtchi is up you need to either set up a server or join someones elses server. First you need to make sure your hamtchi is on. The pwer button is how you toggle your hamtchi on or off. If it is gold it is on if it is white it is off. It will also say "offline" next to it if it is off. When you first install it and open it the white box will have two options that say "Create network" or "Join an exsiting network" If you already have servers there however or those opitions do not appear in the white box you can all select "networks" and then select your options from there. To set up your server you select "create" network. you just type in a network id and a password. Make sure both are easy to type and remember as people joining your servers will have to type both of these things in. once thats done you can start your iron front go to multiplayer (makesure your address is set to internet) and bang! you can host your server. But now people need to join your server. To join someones erver through Hamtchi which you need to do first before joining their server in game. you just select "join an exsiting network" Tyoe in the network Id given to you by the person and the password and bam you should be in.

To join the server in game you need to copy the host IPv4 adress. Make sure you do not copy your own, unless your sending it t someone. You have to copy the host. The host should always be at the top of the list in the server list. Right click the host name and go down to IPv4 and copy that. Simple. Now start up your Iron Front (make sure you have the DLC enabled as the host will mostlikly be running it) and go to multiplayer once it opens go to press remote near the bottem right corner. This is how you directly connect to the server. in the address press these keys on your keyboard (CTRL + V) this will paste the IPv4 address into the address box, then secleet ok. The game may freeze, this is normal as the game searches for the server. Once it finds the server it will unfreeze and you can join it! and now you can have fun with your friends again. This also works for Arma 2

So I am sure a good amount off you have Windows 10. Well this game has a few issues on this OS and that would be the multiplayer. When you select it the game will freeze and never un freeze however there is a easy way to get around this and continue to have fun with friends. When the game freezes on selecting multiplayer, just simply do (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) keys and a list will pop up. Press Task manger. Once it opens watch the task for IF and wait untill it responds again. Make sure you wait an extra minute as sometime it will respond and then stop again for a short time. Once it has come back just open it back up and go to remote and do every needed. Ps if you select address or some other options besides remote it may freeze again and you will have to do that thing again(don't worry though you should not have to wait at all when this happens).-------------- PPS it wil freeze when searching for your friends server! do NOT CTRL ALT DEL! it will unfreeze when it finds the server.-------------------
