Escape Pod [External] for Large ship

i recently saw a mod "advanced welding" i thought it could may be a good way to join small grid and large grid. didnt tried but i think its wount gonna work either

Hm well, that makes it more compact then i thought then.
Actually a nice concept then, just sad that the you can't connect large and small grids through merge blocks.

actualy the pod is in size of 3x3 [large grid] thats how much you need to encase the doors. there does not need to be the casing around the pod. i just add it coz its pretty tall on those large rotors. and there isnt other way so it still can be copy/pasted with a whole ship or station. also the pods can be place right next to each other

Not a bad concept but with the rotors it is not multiplayer friendly and with the size you could almost make a large grid escape pod.
