The differance between the bosses is the amount of stuff you can place on them

how to fix japanese problems: go to google chrome, right clike anywhere, push translate to english

In the Boss Battle menu there should be a option to fight a boss (Depending on the size of your ships your ship may not appear)If your creating one. Then theres 3 options at the side for the differant difficulty bosses to create one.(You need a ticket to publish one but you can save one and use it in Free Battle with a limit of 1 boss)

The newest version just have 2 boss sized ships with healers and multirole weapons

lasers are longer range and a swarm aiming at one target is just. magic.

I use a load of missile healers(around 200 ships with 2 healers and 16 missiles) with one gold boss(non-healer) as backup

if yours are better that is, i made a gold boss healer as in a maxed out heal gun. with my laser ship bosses that have with lasers
