I will, thank you! Hopefully with your advice I can pull of turning some of my favorite paintings into ARK art.

I'm a big fan of what you've done so far. Would you consider linking this and other ARK photo art you do in another drop box like you did with your other canvas files?

I am afraid you need some Photoshop knowledge to archieve this kind of quality. I make my own color palettes with the color references from the Wiki (Wiki page name is "Dye"), then turn the image into Indexed mode, and use the custom color table (this image uses a Black, Slate, Silver and White custom palette) This way Photoshop takes care of the image converting, not the BMP to PNT converter.
Some BMP to PNT converters do the job quite good (I use 8bit pineapple's most times) but nothing beats photoshop.
I'm sure there must be a good tutorial on how to do this somewhere around.

I recommend you to turn up image light (gamma) and contrast for better results since Slate Dye representation ingame is way too dark.
Another important thing is to save the image as a Indexed PNG file, do not invert back to RGB or save as JPG ever.

And about the template, just leave a 2px margin on all the sides and put the canvas very tight together (with a little overlap) and it should be fine.

Good luck

This is stunning by the way

Would you be willing to share the secret to converting image files to canvas pnt files? I have found a pnt file converter, but that template isn't available.
