Hi, I am Fakieqt.

In past years I use to write guides for CS:GO..
I stopped doing this for a year but my guides became very popular over the time, Now getting back into the game I have decided to start writing guides and am making this one for 'CS:GO Rates'.

Enjoy!

Enable the Console
Enable console via Game Settings>Enable Console>Yes

Example:

Goto Keyboard/Mouse>Console Key>Set Key (Default is ~ or `)

Now we are ready to start setting up our rates.
Setting Your Rates!
Now rates depend on 1 thing is it 64tick or 128tick on your server?,
MatchMaking and Valve Servers are all 64tick, however most community hosted servers are 128tick, pro's also play on 128tick servers.

Rates:

[64Tick]

rate "80000"
cl_cmdrate "64"
cl_updaterate "64"
cl_interp "0"
cl_interp_ratio "1"

[128]

rate "128000"
cl_cmdrate "128"
cl_updaterate "128"
cl_interp "0"
cl_interp_ratio "1"

@Ichor - Hi man, Rates improve your registration when you shoot. This means when you shoot an enemy if your rates are not correct your rego may be off.

and yes it will help.

Great guide but i have 2 questions
1) What do rates help with?
2) If i just put all of these commands in will it help with both 64 tick and the 128 tick
