War between Religions! (Clovis submod)

Description
Hi all,
In real life I’m a history teacher, that’s one of the reasons why I like the total war series so much. A very interesting point in history was what would happen after the fall of Rome (476 AD) . The Clovis mod I used for making this submod concentrate on this timeframe. It was not yet clear then which religion would dominate Europe. This submod focuses on that aspect, a war between Religions. Which religion will prevail?
Already thanks for trying out my mod, this is my first mod and I hope to improve my mod, so any feedback is welcome.


What does this mod do?
This mod does a few things:
- It makes your provinces population with other religions then your state religion really unhappy with you
- Converting a province to your faith is harder
- Converting your state to another faith is easier for all factions and will happen more often
- Bonus your receive from a religion is increased, making choosing a certain religion more important on the long run
- Bonuses from religion buildings have been changed
- Some buildings give bonus to a certain religion (example, the silk road was used to spread Manicheism and eastern Christianity)
- More diplomatic bonus from same religion or similair religions/ more diplomatic penalty’s from different religions.

Note: the game probably will be a bit harder because of the changes, especially the late game will be more challenging



Compatibility
Probably compatible to the mods the main clovis mod is compatible with: mods that doesn’t change starting pos. like turns per years mods. Not save game compatible. (Clovis mod itself is already included in this mod!)

I totally agree with you, that why i changed that in this mod.
- Factions with the same religion get a +60 diplomacy bonus with each other
- I looked at the different religions and their differences and similairities: For sample, all monotheistic religions like each other better. Christians like other christians. The more developed religions dislike the less developed religions, etc. On that basis they get a diplomacy bonus or penalty vs other religions between +40 and -40

funny, I am searching fo the opposite kond of mod, because I am a student of theology.

Sadly, it is realistic that different religions hate eah other and that the same religion does not make very good friends.

In nunbers that means that in TWA having the same religion brings just +10 diplomacy, but having different religions rungs -40diplomay, WTF!!!

I would like to have a change:

same religion: +40
familiar religion (just like I have latin christianity to the other crhistianities, or the northern paganisms to each other) +10

completely different religions: *-10

Changing a faction religion will be much easier yes, but changing a province religion to the faction religion will be much harder with this mod

With this mod religion will have a bigger impact on everything. Franks can be the one spreding chritianity true whole europe, even making other faction have chritianity to, but they will have much resistance
