Setting up STOORM
  • Once Steam has downloaded the game navigate to it's installation directory.
    (Default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STOORM - Yellow Edition")
  • Run the installer. (You can also start the installer by running STOORM from Steam.)
  • Install STOORM to it's current directory. Don't start it yet.
(The default directory is still: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STOORM - Yellow Edition")
  • Rename "STOORM-Game.exe" to "STOORM-Install.exe"
  • Make a copy of "STOORM.exe" and rename that copy to "STOORM-Game.exe".
  • You should now be able to run the game without having to reinstall it every time.
Folder issues
Only installations before October 23, 2015 have this problem.

If you have an installation of STOORM with a folder named "STOORM - Yellow Edition." attempt to uninstall and reinstall the game through Steam.
If that doesn't work, rename the folder to "STOORM - Yellow Edition". Use DelinvFile[www.purgeie.com] or a similar application if you can't rename it normally.

@Rd Miz Added. I didn't have an install from before the name change so I had no idea that would work. Steam usually falls flat on it's face when it has to deal with corrupt files.

For folder issue, just uninstall then reinstall.
