Running a dedicated server is fairly trivial with this game.

The first step is to install the server software. If your using the steam GUI you can do this by going to the tools filter in your games library and installing the "Zombie Grinder Dedicated Server" package (riiiiight at the bottom of the list).

If your installing on a headless server you want to use steamcmd to download the package, you can do that reasonably easily, the steam wiki gives a good explanation - https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD. Our appid is 374980 for when you come to running the app_update command.

Once you have the software installed you need to run it. Without specifying any command lines the server will run a generic server with minimal customization. If you want to customize your server you want to enter some of these commands on the command line (or if your running through the steam GUI, right click the dedicated server, go to properties and put the command in set launch options).

This is a brief list of command line options, there are others but they are not particularly relevant to dedicated servers.

To adminstrate servers you can define an admin login and port, which will host a very simple webserver on that you can control the server from. You can get to this by entering http://myserverip:6060 (assuming you set -admin_port to 6060) into your web browser.

Thats pretty much all it takes.
