Description
Hyperion Systems is always looking to cause maximum damage for the lowest cost. Whilst large ships were initially dismissed as being too slow to effectively use kinetic torpedoes, developments in thruster technology and designs stolen from the AAM corporation have forced the Hyperion Systems to reconsider it's position. The Ghoul is the result of this shift. One of the fastest ships in the fleet, the Ghoul is capable of outrunning almost anything. This incredible acceleration is harnessed to drive two inert steel torpedoes toward enemy vessels at high speed. While a single Ghoul will cause few problems for large warships, when deployed in large numbers, the rain of steel can cause heavy damage to slow vessels and create a considerable navigation hazard for others. Like it's sibling, the Wight, the Ghoul is otherwise unarmed and must use it's speed to escape small ships.

Instructions
  • Accelerate toward target, use Front Camera to target
  • When you reach maximum speed (104m/s), disengage dampeners
  • Toggle Merge blocks off using Control Station Toolbar number 2
  • Engage Dampeners
  • Reload using Control Station Toolbar number 1 Warning: Do not reload while moving!

    Notes
    I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival PvP and I'm trying to achieve some sort of balance between vessels to allow for multiple fleet builds, if you use my ships and find a good combination or a bug/problem, let me know.

i used this against a rom heavy frigate and it cut it in half i love it.

@UBT/TheBudgieAdmiral Kinetics FTW! I was doing damage testing last night, collisions seem to be good for PMW at the moment, on the large grid anyway.

There is a Grav Torpedo Boat in this class, it's called the Wight and will be uploaded soon.

I made something almost identical. It gravity launches the torps and turns off the mass block after launch. I like the look of yours better, and may marry it to my gravity launch method so that torps can be fired while moving, or while stationary.
