Hello, Welcome to my second guide in the "Team Fortress 2 Cosmetic Set Guide Series". This guide will show you different type of cosmetic sets that you can use on your Soldier. This guide is a Work In Progress, so future loadouts will be coming soon. Hopefully you will find a "Cosmetic Suit" you will find apealing and use on your own Soldier.



Soldier's cosmetic loadouts, like any other class, can range from rags to riches


So, let's get started!

"If you want the look, you need the knowhow" - Themuffinrocket, 2015

This means if you want to look good you need to know how to trade. Trading is when 2 players give something that the other player wants for something you want.

Currency:

Currency in tf2 is like real life money. It can go from pennies to pounds to cheques (kinda)

You can make your own currency by going into your items, then crafting and on the first page you can make it there.

Lets see the different type of currency people can use:

















Scrap metal is considered to be the lowest form of currency. It is made by crafting together 2 craftable weapons used by the same class. Scrap metal can be called "scrap" and on trading websites, 1 scrap metal is worth 0.11 refined metal

3 Scrap metal can be combined together to make 1 Reclaimed Metal


















Reclaimed metal is the second lowest form of currency. It is made by crafting together 3 Scrap metal. Reclaimed metal can be called "rec" and on trading websites, 1 reclamed metal is worth 0.33 refined metal

3 Reclaimed metal can be combined together to make 1 Refined Metal


















Refined metal is the last craftable currency. It is made by crafting together 3 Reclaimed metal. Refined metal can be called "ref" and on trading websites, 1 refined metal is worth 1.00 refined metal

Keys are a non craftable currency, there origin is purchased from the Mann Co. Store. To get keys you can trade them from someone eles or buy one from the Mann Co. Store. The price of keys are always changing so to check the current price i use http://backpack.tf. Websites like backpack.tf use a price of a key as 1key. If you see a price like 1.5 keys it means it's worth 1 key and what ever half the price of 1 keys is in metal.

Before you view these cosmetic loadouts, have you ever thought to yourself,

"gee, i wonder what these two cosmetics would look like together"

Well to answer your question there is a website called Loadout.tf. You can test out your own sets to make sure they don't collide with any other items using the slot space. The website is currently in development so if you see something that dosen't look right, don't worry it wont look like that in-game. Items with a yellow box around them means something eles is colliding with it that wont be able to be used in-game.
