"I worked on a Lich King player model once for Garrysmod. It is located here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=179134697

The addon that plagiarized is located here:

Recently, someone else uploaded a model that looked identical to the one I worked on. So I downloaded it and checked it out in-game. It looked and acted identical to mine so I decided to decompile it. The above pictures show my results. Weightmapping is a finicky process that leads to a unique piece of work. As you can see that other lich king model is identical to mine! The last picture shows the body model that was ported from WoW behind each model. As you can see, I had downsized my player model to make it fit onto the valvebiped skeleton. Besides what you can see in this picture, all the vertices (points that make up geometry on a model) are in the exact same positions. This is very silly considering when you scale a model, it can be off by as little .0001. The compiler log also contained the exact same information; except for some rename of files and addition of redundant animation files. Even the materials are identical between the two models.

When asked about the issue, the Uploader said it was all his original work and only looked like what I had worked on. He also went as far as deleting my comments and locking the addon so the public could no longer comment.

It is one thing to upload someone else's work without their permission, but it is entirely worse to go so far as to claim it as your own.

Please go the stolen addon, flag it as stolen work (citing maxxy's addon), and down vote it.
I like creating content when I have the time, but this whole experience sours me, and I would appreciate it being taken down.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

January 31st, 2016 Update:
I have just recently viewed this addon again and I noticed someone was kind enough to call the Uploader’s work into question back in November.

In response to Night Druid (the Uploader):
It is true, I didn’t make an NPC out of the Lich King, but I didn’t want to. I am not overly fond of making the generic citizen model replacement NPCs that generally accompany Player models (this is because you just change the animations you compile a model with, very simple and easy to do). As for proportions: I re-proportioned the mesh to fit the player model size, the size the rip-off Lich King happens to be. Let me restate what is said above: I do all my finishing weight painting for bones manually, no scripts. But to be fair, that “mixamo auto weight paint tool” looks pretty handy and I may start using it.

In closing thoughts: I know I am running a smear campaign against Night Druid, but the “My addon is unquestionably more complex” part made me laugh pretty hard. Just look at all the work Maxxy has done for that addon and how minor my contribution of a player model really was.

March 22, 2016 Update:
The rip-off Uploader was kind enough to post all their arguments below in the comments for you to read without visiting their workshop page. Feel free to skim and notice their lack of research into my workshop uploads."

Part VI:

Also, I have one last thing to point out...
Tell me, if he could make an NPC before someone else did, why didn't he? My addon is unquestionably more complex in that regard.

I believe the only reason he’s attempting to damage my reputation on steam is because he can’t create anything more complex than a simple player model and a ragdoll the game automatically generates with the player model.

Part V:

Another interesting thing I found in his screenshot is that there are some rather large inconsistencies with his supposed legit photo. He claims that both models have the same dimensions. However, shockingly enough, when you look at both add-ons in game or in a modelling program such as Blender, Unity's model and animation editor, or NifSkope, the x,y,z size of the model does NOT match what he has in the photos!
The model is not only smaller, but it also flexes differently in several joints when closely compared.
Funny isn't it? How a supposed legit picture can be faked and disproven given enough time.
Not only has he lied to his fan base, he has also supplied false evidence that has clearly been edited.
Don't believe me?
Well then, compare them with your own eyes, make your own judgement and you will see some large inconsistencies in his claims, such as the above mentioned attributes.

Part IV:

As for the "Similar Weight paint" argument, it is flawed on multiple levels. My add-on was created using the "Mixamo auto weight paint tool" which automatically weight paints a skeleton to a mesh. The model itself, of course is ripped directly from Blizzard's Warcraft. I'm sure MIR isn't the only one that uses auto weight paint programs and scripts. Anyone who has even dabbled in modelling knows that it will be similar if both add-on creators use an auto rig script on Blizzard’s model as a base for their biped skeleton. When you look closely, the models are, in fact, different.

Part III:

Let's start pointing out some differences shall we?
Unlike his model, my Lich King model is in proportion with a standard player model and has a different set of textures (The steel greenish-tinted Ice Crown citadel textures).
The facts that differentiate my add-on, are that mine is an NPC with advanced animation sets, smart AI, variants for the AI scripts, Server bot integration using the NPC base and most importantly, a faithful size that can be used in an S-Car.
These features are nowhere to be seen in MIR's add-on, which is lacking all of the above features and polish.

Part II:
Again, look at the add-ons yourself before making any judgements. I've said this many times and I'll repeat it again, I have NOT copied another modder’s work in creating my addon.
I have made many other addons and NPCs which show that I am more than capable of creating content. The information that MonkeysInRavenholm has shown on his page is incorrect and arguably flawed to begin with.

Night Druid 22 Mar, 2016 @ 12:13am
Instead of childishly attempting to sabotage another add-on, I would recommend everyone getting in-game with both add-ons before making any rash judgements. They are NOT the same, and I created my addon independent of anyone else’s work.
When comparing them, look at how both add-ons function in these categories:
* Script quality (or lack of scripts in this childish person’s add-ons case)
* Extra content (such as smart AI, actual NPC's, Compatibility with Scars, etc.)
* NPC's (Again, MIR’s mod DOES NOT have npc's!)
* Cleaner code (as far as I'm aware, their code causes errors in the console. My code does not.)
* Model dimensions and textures (remember that the textures are directly ripped from WOW?).
As for his color brightness excuse, that’s total crap. The textures come out at that gamma and brightness levels when ripped from wow's current database. Then what gives him that greenish color in game? It is in fact, the shaders wow applies to the model.)

I had a feeling that something was wrong with that addon, it looked like your addon. As a matter of fact I think this guy plagiarized not only your addon, but someone else. Take a look at this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=522754098 and this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=175888811&searchtext=miraak This guy is definitly a piratecat
