The first and most critical step is to find a server with a slap force that is high enough to launch people to the other side of the room, perhaps at around 9000 or so. Preferably there must not be slap cooldown on the server. Next, enable the developer console if you haven't done so. Type in the command "cl_showpos 1" so your coordinates will display on the top right. You will need another person available to help you get through the door.

Now that you have coordinates enabled, it should now be much easier to line yourself up perfectly. You will need to stand in the door just enough that you will get teleported and remain stuck in the collision. Try facing the countdown timer and moving using the 'S' key to slowly slide into place. You should be around "pos: _._ -487._ _._". You will know when you have got it when the countdown timer for the elevator starts and you cannot jump and cannot uncrouch when the doors close.


Notes:

• If you are too close to the elevator door, you will not be teleported and you will need to try again.
  
• If you are too close to the elevator, you will teleport with it and not be stuck. When this happens, either wait it out until you reach the top floor to try again or reconnect to the server.

When you are in the elevator, you should arrive stuck in the door. Try to get someone to slap you through - by default, using the 'R' key - when you arrive on a "safe" floor. Further in this guide I will explain to you what floors are safe and which ones are not. If performed correctly, you will be slapped out of the elevator!

Note:

• You will not go anywhere if people slap you while "faded out" or inside of you.

Once outside, you wouldn't want to retry the glitch again for every floor, right? You can ride on the outside of the elevator to keep from redoing the glitch. All you need to do is hug the elevator door as it is closing to be teleported on the outside of the elevator. Else, you will be teleported back in.

Notes:

• Once you're on the outside of the elevator, you can see all of the different floors as you're literally outside of the map.
  
• You will notice your velocity is not at 0, despite you not falling anywhere. This happens when you are stuck in collision.
  
• People can see you stuck through the elevator door. They may try to slap you further out, but you won't get very far.
  
• Some people will try to keep you from riding on the outside of the elevator by slapping you away as the doors are closing. Counter this by waiting until just after the doors close to jump on the doors, or by standing just far enough away from the door.
  
• It is possible to be teleported stuck in the floor or ceiling based on your player's position when teleporting. This can have interesting effects.
  

Some floors are considered "not safe" because it is impossible to return to the elevator door to ride with it on these floors. Said floors may have pits, vacuums, or may be the "breaking elevator" floor. If you arrive stuck in the collision as a new "unsafe" floor appears, ask your partner(s) to not slap you into that floor. If you are riding on the outside of the elevator when a "pit" floor appears, stay on the edge of the elevator door to keep from falling into the pit. If you arrive on the "space vacuum" floor, hide in the nearest door until the main door closes, then rush to the elevator door to make it in time.

Notes:

• On the "space vacuum" floor, you will experience a much more powerful vacuum, and you may be sucked out through the door.
  
• On the "elevator disassemble" floor, it is possible to delay the elevator by falling and blocking one of the elevator walls from touching the floor. This adds a new element of surprise, as people may not know what's wrong with the elevator. Move out of the way to continue the sequence. You may get in trouble with the admins if you do this, so it is not recommended. If you fall, you will not be able to teleport with the elevator, so keep that in mind.
  
• Assume that every floor with a solid black background is a "pit" floor. Although, not every floor is a "pit" floor.
  
• The "pit" floors are the most dangerous. Try to avoid getting slapped into them by making yourself hard to hit.

If you fall into a small pit - such as the cat room - you can teleport with the elevator while stuck in the floor. Using this, ride to the top floor and get somebody to slap you into the ground. Crouch to get under the elevator hallway and crawl out to be outside of the map. If this glitch is performed with somebody else, they can slap you onto the roof, balcony, or anywhere else on the top floor.

Notes:

• If you crawl under the floor, people can see the top of your playermodel. Combine this with any of the "act _____" commands to put on a show for them.
  
• Don't get too far into the floor before you arrive at the top floor, or else nobody will be able to slap you into the ground.
