Achievement Guide

I know that this games achievements are pretty straight forward. This guide will just tell you how and the easiest places to get them.

Please keep in mind that this guide will display the achievements in the order that of Global Gameplay Stats , not in the order of easiest - hardest.

Rogue Unlike

"Die Once". To "die" you have to get caught by a guard, Pawns and Turrets will "kill" you the fastest.

Imperial March

"Travel one mile". This one is pretty self explaitary, you will get it when you get it...

Warming Up

"Play for 20 minutes". This means, play for 20 minutes in one session. I found out the hard way.

A Long Walk

"Travel 3 miles". Again...this is pretty self explanitory.

The First Ballad

"Complete 25 core levels". This is pretty straight forward, when you have completed 25 Core Levels, reached 25% completion you should get this .

Light Reading

"Read 25% of text in the core levels". To get this you must make sure that you read all of the notes, letters, emails etc...that have been left for you in the levels.

Be Heard

"Fire the bugle 50 times in core levels". Once you have unlocked the bugle, you can either stand in one level and fire it 50 times, which won't take too long because of its recharge rate, or you can move on and just fire it as much as possible when you have it.

Leaps of Faith

"Jump 25 walls in the core levels". To get this achievement you must have unlocked the level "Indirect Paths" or higher.

Always the Taffer

"Be seen by enemies 300 times in the core levels". This one takes a while to get because of the amount of times you have to be seen. I got this achievement without knowing what it was as I was completing the game. You get seen a lot in Volume, so the chances are you will get it regardless.

Semi Final

"Complete 50 core levels". This is pretty straight forward. Complete 50 levels, get to 50% completion.

Enjoy your Trip

"Place 20 Folly's in the core levels". To unlock the folly you have to have reached the level "The Folly of Youth" or higher.

The Darkest Couple of Hours

"Complete 75 core levels". For this you have to have completed 75 of the Core Levels, 75% completion.

Illuminated Manuscripts

"Read 50% of text in the core levels". To get this you must make sure that you read all of the notes, letters, emails etc...that have been left for you in the levels. Make sure you keep doing this.

Ghost from the...

"Fire 40 figments in core levels". To unlock the figment you have to have reached the level "Ghosts Of The Past" or higher.

The Complete Works

"Complete all core levels". This is pretty straight forward, when you have completed all Core Levels, reached 100% completion you should get this. Nice ending scene too, by the way right?

Arcade Flynn

"Die 200 times". Getting this achievement takes a while. I recommend finding a level with a Turret near spawn as they "kill" you the fastest. The level "Attention" is good for this.

Compiled Texts

"Read 75% of text in the core levels". To get this you must make sure that you read all of the notes, letters, emails etc...that have been left for you in the levels. Make sure you keep doing this.

"Use every gadget in the core levels". This means you have to have unlocked all the gadgets in the Core Levels and fire/use all of them at least once.

Because it’ll hurt more

"Stun enemies 100 times in the core levels". To get this achievement you must have unlocked the "Blackjack" gadget. A good way to get this achievement would be to find a level that has more than one guard in one place so that you can fire between them as the come out of their sleep. Keep in mind that you have to wait for the guard to wake up before you fire at it again otherwise it doesn't count.
--EDIT-- Basost - "A Fox Hole" is a good level for this

Hidden in the shadow of Moses

"Hide in 50 lockers in the core levels". A good level to get this achievement is "Incendairy Markets" is a good level for this.

Lucky Thirteen - "Another Face is another good level for this achievment because there is a locker near the beggining."

If it bleeds...

"Go invisible 30 times in core levels". To get this achievement you must have unlocked the "Veil" gadget.

Wearing Lincoln Green

"Play a level with a customized character". To get this achievement you must have either completed the game or got to at least 100% completion. ~~~WARNING, SPOILERS~~~ To customize a character you go to the Main Menu ~ Settings ~ Customize Character. You then chose either Alan or Midge (because Locksley isnt customizable), change their colours, then play any level with the character.

Lore of the Things

"Read 100% of the text in the core levels". To get this you must make sure that you read all of the notes, letters, emails etc...that have been left for you in the levels. Make sure you keep doing this.

Agent 48

"Wear a disguise 100 times in core levels". To get this achievement you must have unlocked the "Masquerade" gadget.

tispe - "Another Face" is a great level for Agent 48. The gadget is right next to the start point!

I experienced the same thing where I was sitting for half an hour doing masquerade but only when I used invisibility did I get Agent 48

When I was getting the achievement, I was trying to shoot it on sleeping guards as well, but once I got to 100 on the guards while they were still asleep it didn't unlock for me. Which is why I suggested doing it on guards after they wake up.

For "Because it’ll hurt more"; I got the achievement with a shot I accidentally made on a guard that was already knocked out. "Keep in mind that you have to wait for the guard to wake up before you fire at it again otherwise it doesn't count." is incorrect.

A bit of help with the "use 100 times" achievements: don't forget that you can restart from the last checkpoint pressing Y (or whatever in your controller). This will save you half the time if you restart once you used the ability.

Also, most of the achievements appear once you restart the game.

Sometimes there is a delay between the time when you unlock the acheivement and the time that you get it. Disguise doesn't (shouldn't) count towards invisiblity.

I don't know why, but I got "If it bleeds..." after using Masquerade. Does disguise count towards invisibility?
