Crew: 6 - One Commander, with each other member performing any duties ranging from maintenance to fire control. The platform may spend much of its time dormant, so the crew often remains in cryo until the weapon is needed.

In 2103, CDI, along with its industrial partner KUS, made a push for Europa to meet increasing demands for Ice in the wake of the Enceladus blockade. Having watched Europa for some time from a distance, CEU saw CDI expand and decided to take the moon for themselves before it was too late. They jumped into low Europa orbit and began orbital bombardment of what few facilities CDI had established.

The Phoenix Republic immediately declared open war on CEU, and the Navy moved to defend CDI, along with the corporation's own naval forces.

Back in the Saturn system, the RIA began investigating CEU's new weapon, and secretly made contact with WMI, the minds behind CEU's technology. The RIA offered WMI a deal, and they agreed to sell Phoenix the same technology.

PFS was chosen to build the new weapon, due to its close ties with the Navy, along with the fact that it was based on Titan, meaning that it could carry out construction away from the conflict in Jovian space.

By 2104, PFS unveiled the Jotunn in a massive propaganda stunt for all of Sol to see, ensuring the CEU received the very pointed threat that Phoenix would see the Jotunn bombard the Tokugawa (the hostile house of CEU) headquarters on Pallas, should it refuse to withdraw.

Controls - to use the craft, sit in a seat, hit K, go to the group labelled "**Control**" and hit "Control"



1. View Targeting Camera
2. Emergency Hydrogen Boosters On/Off
3. Toggle Gravitational Alignment System
4. Begin Firing Sequence

To operate the gun, set it in space over your target. The gun should be under the influence of gravity (so the rods will fall) but it SHOULD NOT go below .45 gravitational influence. This is empty weight, so adding more cargo should require a lower maximum influence. If you fall below this line, you can use the Hydrogen Thrusters (2) to boost you back up.

Activate the Gravitational Alignment System (3) and give it time to fully align the gun. You will see a display above the Targeting Camera's (1) View.

Once your Pitch and Yaw displays as 0, you can Begin Firing Sequence (4). Do not trigger twice until the sequence has completed (There are 12 projectiles that will fall, and red lights will remain on inside the cannon during firing).

The Firing Sequence is currently tweaked for Creative welding speeds. If you need to change it to survival, simply go to the timer labelled "OKP Release 1" and increase the delay.

NOTE: YOU MUST TURN OFF TRASH REMOVAL FOR THE RODS TO FALL ALL THE WAY TO THE PLANET!

ADDITIONALLY: Having the gun belong to your faction can cause the merge blocks to fail and therefore the firing system to not work properly. You will either need to 1) easy option: make sure that the merge blocks in the cannon remain neutral or 2) tedious option: make your own blueprints that all belong to your faction.

I know this ship is old, but it"s really cool! I am trying to get the firing sequence to work. I tried to increase the time of OKP Release 1, but that didn't work... What could the issue be? The last thing I can think of is an issue with the projectors

um dumb question butwhere do i fire this from because the 4 seats i saw wouldnt let me fire it

keen re-did the way projections work a few updates back. i'll have to reset all the parameters

I managed to extract the blueprint for building the EOP. just build one and cut it out of the ship to replace the blueprint so you can have ownership. You might want to make a note that that can be done in the description.

it's supposed to be one single block. it breaks into 4 during the fire sequence. that's why everything is automated per the user manual above. i can't give you a blueprint for the projectile because it is made both design and programming wise to fit with this platform
