Ever wonder what junk you need to pick up for upgrading your Power Armor? Look no further. Yorkshire Yank and I explain what junk is important for each mod slot, where to get Fusion Cores and more!

[Power Armor Types]
⦁ Raider - Though limited on mod slots and customization, Raider Power Armor is the easiest to maintain, just hammer in some more aluminum and you'll still be far better protected that you would with standard apparel!
⦁ T-45 - This is likely the first power armor you'll come across if you take part in the beginning story quests. While not the strongest, the T-45 series has plenty of potential when it comes to mods and customization.
⦁ T-51 - Another that's easily recognizeable. The T-51 series provides more protection than the T-45 and Raider Power Armor naturally.
⦁ T-60 - Much more advanced than the T-45 Power Armor, the T-60 series is also favored by the Brotherhood of Steel in the Commonwealth. Wearing this Power Armor is just short of turning the user into a fully articulate walking tank.
⦁ X-01 - The most advanced Power Armor available. Over the last several decades, the X-01 was employed by the now defeated Enclave. The X-01 WILL make you a walking tank, and has the widest selection of upgrades for any task, minus certain faction paint jobs.

[Required Components by Mod Slot]

Model - The model of your power armor pieces are the basis of their damage, energy, radiation resistance, and durability. The higher rank of model, the better protected you'll be!

⦁ Model Components - Aluminum, Circuitry, Nuclear Material (For Torso), Ceramic (T-60, X-01), Rubber (T-60, X-01)
⦁ Junk Items - Surgical Tray, Hot Plate, Biometric Scanner, Ashtray, Plunger
⦁ Where to look - Hospitals, Apartments, Lounges & Diners

Material - The Material upgrades are for things like custom paint jobs, extra plating and shielding.

⦁ Material Components - Aluminum, Nuclear Material, Plastic, Steel, Circuitry, Fiber Optics, Lead, Rubber, Ceramic, Silver, Crystal
⦁ Junk Items - Alarm Clock, Telephone, Pencil, Blast Radius Board Game, Toy Rocketship, Toy Alien, TV Dinner Tray, Coffee Pot, Coffee Cup, Microscope, Silver Pocket Watch, Plunger
⦁ Where to look - Rural Homes, Schools, Laboratories, Diners

Misc - Miscellaneous mods are where you can truly make the power armor yours! These mods include Jetpacks, Tesla Coils, Emergency Protocols, Sensors, Stealth Fields, and a whole lot more!

⦁ Misc Components - Aluminum, Circuitry, Nuclear Material, Antiseptic, Rubber, Spring, Ceramic, Steel, Oil, Asbestos, Crystal, Gold, Fiber Optics, Copper, Cloth
⦁ Junk Items - Aluminum Canister, Alarm Clock, Telephone, Biometric Scanner, Abraxo Cleaner, Extinguisher, Gold Plated Flip Lighter, Gold Pocket Watch, Coffee Cup, Microscope, Lamp, Cigar Box
⦁ Where to look - Hospitals, Labs (again), Offices, Robot Manufacturers, Bars, Diners

Headlamp - Limited to helmets, the headlamp replaces your pip-boy light while wearing Power Armor, there's a variety of colors and even an extra bright version to choose from!

⦁ Headlamp Components - Aluminum, Copper, Fiber Optics, Nuclear Material, Circuitry
⦁ Where to look - Same as before, Hospitals and such.

[Extra Looting Tips]
⦁ Aluminum, Circuitry, Ceramic and Rubber are primary components for Power Armor. To ensure you can at least repair regularly, grab Aluminum Cans/Canisters, dishwear and scrap those tires at settlements. As for the circuit boards, just take everything from robotic enemies and you'll be set!
⦁ Adhesive! - It's been established in previous component guides that adhesive is essential. Power Armor maintenance is no different! As mentioned in prior guides, grab all the wonderglue and duct tape you see. You can also create Vegetable Starch at a cooking station with the right produce to make 5 units of adhesive each time!

[Fusion Core Locations]
⦁ Power Generators carry 1 each, sometimes a location has more than one generator however.
⦁ Prydwin - When the Brotherhood of Steel arrives in the Commonwealth, and under the agreement of joining them, there are plenty of ammo boxes and containers with Fusion Cores in them.
⦁ Weapons Vendors have been known to have at least a few Fusion Cores in their inventory, if you need that valuable energy and have some things to trade
⦁ Sentry Bots - While one of the most vicious robots you will face, Sentry Bots have a set of 2 Fusion Cores which are available upon being defeated.
