Go play Carma II

Resolution

Browse to \Steam\steamapps\common\Carmageddon2
Open nglide_config and set resolution.

Draw Distance

Browse to Steam\steamapps\common\Carmageddon2\data
Open OPTIONS.txt
Change only the YON
From
Yon 35.000000
To
Yon 70.000000
(Lower the number if performance drops)
Save and close.

Ped draw distance

Browse to Steam\steamapps\common\Carmageddon2\data\PEDS
Open SETTINGS.txt
Change the following:
12 // Max distance from camera that peds are processed within
9 // Min distance from camera that peds can suddenly pop up at
To
24 // Max distance from camera that peds are processed within
18 // Min distance from camera that peds can suddenly pop up at

Save and close.

Go play Carma II

If you have a steam controller I also have a working config if you disable the in game controller support.

The Options.txt file literally keeps changing it back to 35 every time, why?

Should I change it to read only?

Thank you! This game is surprisingly playable on modern pc and os with this guide.

For controller support I believe you have to use something like xpadder and manually setup keys.
