TTT Radio Commands
By ShiftyCollie
So, Radio Commands, not a lot of players know about them in a gamemode like TTT. It is like the commands seen on the left hand side of the screen in CS:S or CS:GO with commands like "Go Go Go!"

What Is Radio Commands?
Radio Commands are some already made text that all you have to do is press a button to bring up a list. The list contains nine different lines of text that range from "<player> acts suspicious" to "Is Anybody Alive?".

Depending on the server you play on, it can vary, the one show below is from the server "BlinkGaming".

How Do I Find Them?
You cannot find this as this feature in not a defult key. In order to "find" this, you must first bind suit_zoom to a key, usually one you can reach with easy (Mine's mousewheel 3).

There are two ways to bind suit_zoom to you desired key, and I will be showing you in this guide.
What Is 'suit_zoom'?
Suit_zoom is like zooming in 150% on something, it makes it so you can see further away things in all gamemodes but TTT.

It looks something like this; server is "BananaShake Deathrun" [Shutdown]:

What it changes is:
  • It changes the corners to have a shaded black effect.

  • It put a yellow dotted line through the centre of the screen.

  • A yellow circle in the centre of the screen will be seen.

  • Your screen will be zoomed in.

On TTT servers, it looks different, and by different I mean is you have nothing like shown above. All you have is a box with a list of 9 radio commands that you can quicky use (like show at the start of the guide) that you can press with ease.
Why Should I Have "suit_zoom"?
You should have "suit_zoom" because if you don't play TTT, you can still get the most out of it by seeing accross the map in RP / DarkRP, or any other gamemode, like Deathrun, Pedobear or Jailbreak!.

In TTT, you can get the already made texts that make calling out players MUCH more easier (But more or less useless if you have a microphone).
Method 1 - Console
To open the console, follow this guide:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=627640216

Type into console 'bind <key> "suit_zoom" ' - replace the <key> with anything of your choice.
And you're done, this will stay on until you say otherwise though 'unbind <key>'.

Method 2 - Options
Guessing you're here, you either don't know how to open the console, or you found it too confusing. So lets get cracking!
  • Firstly, on the main menu, click on options (The sixth option down).

  • Secondly, make sure the Keyboard sub-catagory is open.

  • Thirdly, scroll down until you see "Suit Zoom".

  • Fourthly, double click on the "Suit Zoom" bar.

  • Fifth, press any key to chage it.

  • Sixth, press "Apply".
OR

Options > Keyboard > "Suit Zoom" > Double Click > Change Key > "Apply"

It should look something like this:

No. I see the option to press 1-9. Only it does not let me use 6-9. Works when I use 1 through 5

The corresponding numbers for the 'suit_zoom' is connected to the 'Weapon Catagory', 1 through 9 [as you can see in the bottom picture]. Have they been rebounded to something else?

All the number corresponded buttons don't work for me. How do I fix it ?
