Work in Progress? Eh, we'll probably never finish this. So much stuff got messed up, it's hard to keep track of it all.

Note to contributers: Even if stuff was patched already, put it in anyway for posterity.

Gameplay-Related Glitches (General)
  • Extinguishing with the mutated milk does not reduce the cooldown as with the Mad Milk.
  • Slower weapon switch times on certain weapons for "balance" purposes can be circumvented by changing the weapon being switched to in the middle of the holstering animation.
  • Medic's increased Uber build rate during setup lasts for the entire rounds on payload/payload race maps that don't have setup time (FIXED).
  • Valve didn't actually test updated Sapper effects on Sentries, and Sentries remained disabled for several seconds longer than intended (FIXED).
  • Valve didn't actually make sure they updated the Concheror like they said they did (FIXED)
  • Spies can use weapon-switch mechanics to disable buildings with Sapper while cloaked. Sapper is not actually applied to building (FIXED).
  • The invulnerability period on the phlog lasted longer than the taunt (FIXED).
  • Powerjack does not overheal
  • When the update came out, both MVM and PVP players were forced into civilian poses. This was fixed in a second patch later that day:

Gameplay-Related Glitches (MvM/Bot-Specific)
  • Bots can no longer use the Loose Cannon properly without blowing themselves up.[FIXED]
  • Bots can no longer aim certain grenade-type weapons properly.
  • Certain MvM waves are messed up due to bots being unable to use banner items properly.
  • Health on Kill upgrade no longer grants overheal.
  • Soldier bots seem to behave weirdly. Delayed coming out of bot spawn by a significant amount.
  • Second gate in Manhattan seem to glitch and not spawn any bots for long periods of time, or ever in some cases [FIXED].
Map Exploits
  • Engineers can get into the skybox of Landfall. This exploit does not require the cooperation of other players.

  • Engineers can build teleporters in spawn on Pinewood, allowing enemy Spies into spawn.
Cosmetic Glitches
Other Glitches
  • Paint drops from stockings were accidentally made tradeable (FIXED).
  • Untradeable items from previous year's stocking were made tradeable.
  • Wrangler kills from the engineer counted toward contract points other than the engineer (FIXED)
Questionable Rebalancing Decisions:
  • The Ullapool Caber was never more than a joke weapon. Why does Valve insist on nerfing it repeatedly?
  • Nerfing Engineer, one of the weaker classes in the game, and two of his popular weapons.
  • Nerfing the underused Quick Fix.
  • All of the extinguishing bonuses sound dumb and potentially exploitable. They were probably put in the game to pander to noobs who consider extinguishing other players to be the highest form of teamwork.
  • Uncalled and unnecessary Phlogistinator buff.
  • Splitting weapon switch speed into deploy and holster speed. It was uncalled for, it makes balancing issues unnecessarily more complex and is easily exploitable.
Changes Missing from Patch Notes:
  • Partial bonus of 50 is granted on 95% cash collected (MVM)

  • The Amputator now uses ramp up to the full HP regen similar to the Concheror, making it useless to counter afterburn.
  • The hunstman is able to fire midair.

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but today many accounts have gotten far more tough break contracts than expected.

one thing I really hope they add is a buff to the neon annihilator that stops suffocation from water.
It makes this weapon semi viable for ambushes (what pyro was originally intended to do) on water maps but the main reason is that the only people who really use this are pyrosharks and i want to see underwater, lurking pyrosharks. Not a signifigant change, but could be fun, and wouldn't break anything by adding something fun (I'm looking at you tide turner, you know what you did...)

Equilzer "buff" made it hard for the best use of it. the Trolling of MvM medics and I agree with you. Sometimes a buff or nerf can make or break a perfectly good weapon. After gunmettle the number of Heavies running the natasha and the tomislav sky rocketed and when Tough break come out Valve for some reason hates heavy melee weapons. Who the fuck knows. The next major update will ruin more weapons, and make revive weapons ruined before

Nobody here said the Phlog was OP. As you said... the buff was minor. It was fine before. It saw use in both pubs and comp. So why waste time rebalancing it at all? It's just another thing that can potentially break when the update is shipped (and in fact it WAS glitched when Tough Break was first released?). Why can't I count on my weapons doing the same thing they did a few weeks ago anymore?

Even when weapons are "buffed," they often lose fans because Valve takes away traits that formerly endeared them to loyal users. I've heard competitive Engies complain that the Short Circuit buff two years ago ruined the weapon. I personally am not a fan of the New Equalizer. The buff was so small that it's basically useless, and the weapon can't be used to troll Medics anymore. What's worse, Medics can come and heal you against your will when you want the damage bonus!

Phlog Buff...Something is very minor and the one thing that leads to shit storm..."Phlog is OP" My ass!

Simple: There's no change to the taunt timer. Plenty of time to GTFO, Stickytrap, or repostion.
Unless there was a secret buff to the phlog that reads "Forces enemy players to be frozen in fear during the taunt and phlog charge for Easy Kills LOLz"

Only reason why the weapon is "Op" is that well....People just install the game who had a bad run into these pyros and quoteing from cloaker in Payday 2 "Now go to the forums and CRY like the little Bitch you are!!" Some thing as Demomen with sticky spamming. It's annoying to deal with, but practice and skill it can be delt with.

@sigs: I noticed the streaming thing for a few months before they finally mentioned it in Tough Break patch note (they kinda stated D3D always has it, just Mac and Linux aka OpenGL need an update to finally implement it).

Of course, I never really notice any "faster" map loads and all it does for me is giving me fucking ugly blurry textures on my weapons and buildings until the texture finally loads. I'd like this goddamn feature being Unreal Engine's or id Tech 5's exclusive, not the Source engine too!

They also got rid of the cl_forcepreload command too.
