[Lost Saga] Alice Guide

This is a guide for those newer players to Lost Saga, or just those who want to see how others players use Alice. Before we start, I am by no means a pro so please don't be mad if you know something that I don't.

Key for Alice
The key was designed to show how to do the move that you see. Think of it as the move in a fighting game and buttons showing you how to do the input. It will be shown as (ex. A-d-d)

Normal Attack. d

Hold Attack. D

Jump. A

Block. S

Double tap in a direction(Just cause it shows right-right, it is not specified, it can be done in any direction). >>
Basics
Three Hit Basic. (d-d-d)
- Last hit stuns.
- You can jump away on the last hit. (D-D-D-A)

Regular Block (S)
- Counter: Yes, It's a half-faint. (S-d)
- Deflect: No.

Dash
- It can dash. (>>)
- Dash attack is a two hit attack. First hit flinches, Second hit knocks up and you can combo off of it or jump. (>> d-d) or (>> d-d-A)
- While dashing you can go into your machine gun mode ( will be explained later). (>> D)
- Has two air dashes, to do it, simply jump then dash in the area where you want to dash. This version will half faint them. (A->>)
You can also attack after the dash.This version put the person into the air. (A->>-d)

Jump
- Only has one jump. (A)
Machine Gun Mode: it can jump twice. (A-A)
- Jump attack are 3 hits that knock the opponent down. (A-d-d-d)
- You can switch to Machine Gun Mode while jumping. (A-D)
Machine Gun Mode
Overview: It has a 100 bullets passive. The bullets don't drain out by itself, you can choose when to waste it. Getting attacked will also drop the bullet bar by 30. There are also 8 commads for attacking.

You are able to go into MGM by Hold D.

While in this mode, you are unable to block.

You are able to use the Hold D and it will give you a small triple jump when you go into that mode.

In this mode you gain the option to double jump.

MGM Basic:

Attack:
- 4 Hit Basics. (D-d-d-d-d)
Each press of the d key will consume 5 bullets.

- The Jump Attack is a 4 Hit Combo. (D-A-d-d-d-d)
Each press during the jump will waste 10 bullets
- If the opponent is standing, it will faint them with the last hit if it hits.
- If there on the ground, the last hit will lift them up.

- The Air dash. (D-A->>)
- It wastes 10 bullets.
Gears
- SD: Madness Overrun.
Moves forward a certain distance and fires blindly.

With this Wep skill, it shoots out hearts in an AOE type manner. This skill also carries the opponent and you can move around during this.

- ASD: Rampage.
Teleports above the target and fires blindy.

You can jump and use the skill.
When you are on the ground you can use the skill.
It also pops the opponent into the air.

- AD: 6 o'clock Tea Party.
Puts Target in a Tea Cup.

The teacup will go into a straight line, then it will go in a diagonal line and take a few more turns just as if someone was in the cup.

- AS: Polymorph.
Changes the target into a Chesire Cat. (Cannot move or use skills)

While they say you can't move, you are still able to move but you can't do anything.

Combos
1- 3 Hit Basic Into MGM Mode 4 Hit Basic.
(d-d-d-D-d-d-d-d)

2- Dash Attack - Jump - 3 Hit Basic - Air Dash - 3 Hit Basic.
(>>-A-d-d-d->>-d-d-d)

3- MGM Mode 4 Hit Jump Attack - MGM Mode Air Dash - MGM Mode 4 Hit Basic.
(D-d-d-d-d->>-d-d-d-d)

1 and 2 can also combo into 3. Take some time to pratice and see what you can do, you will get a lot better results instead of just pressing the d key all day long.
Suggested Stats/Ideas To Go For
Like any other basic hero, it's best to go Attack and Speed.

SD: Yes
ASD: Yes
AD: No
AS: No

- If you are swapping gears, putting gears that are passive will be a good idea as they still work in MGM.
- Be careful with some gears as you can't swap in MGM.
Gears To Put On Alice
These are just my idea, mix and match and see what you can do.
(Will update when people give their ideas on what they can do with it)

Same as always, you can't change

Armor:
Default Armor

Helm:
Ragna Headband

Trinket:
Monk Statue
Wings ( Phoenix Wings or Chicken Wings )
Swap Potential/Potential
Swap:
In My Opinion, for those swap happy people, this may not be the best hero. It can deal a lot of dmg in a short time,espically in team based matches. Being unable to swap in during MGM is not the biggest thing you would want.

Potential:
It is very high, a lot of people use it, so expect to see it a lot,espically in high ranking rooms. Putting Speed on it will make it become very fast. Attack is also a good idea as the bullets spread and the charge is fast.
Tricks/Tips
- Air dashing is a good way to fly around the map and catch people and carry them to do your air dash.

- Jumping alot will allow you to go into your Hold D mode and give you a nice pop so you can go behind your opponent and be a little tricky.


- Becareful when playing Alice and you're in MGM, if you press S while jumping you will land and not be able to do anything.

Putting on tiger tail in the trinket slot should work pretty well.
