So I'm at the stage where I look at uTube Vids and see a Radio channel thingy bottom right, a circular compass that also shows nearby units bottom middle.
I see loads of bits I would like but my big problem is what are they and how do I get them. I managed to find and download one mod, but cant get it working.
Could you, or have you, thought about making a series of instructional pieces on how to get all these extra bits that people take for granted but us newbie’s haven't got a clue about - for example, how to get a radio and get it to work!.
One I would love is the one where part of the options must be for meds, a figure appears on the screen and you can see by the 'redness' of the limb or head, or body which bit needs bandaging or a tourniquet - what’s that one then????
Thanks
And on a side note: The older ARMA's are immersive, but the engine is not optimized for new GPU's. My 3080 runs BF4 and BF5 in 4K on ultra in 50-60FPS, while Arma2 sticks around 20-30FPS with frame drops.
The "game" listed in your library as "Arma X: Anniversary Edition", which is added with the rest of games in this bundle, is not a game. It's a collection of extras related to all Arma games up to Cold War Assault. It includes artbooks, design documents, walkthroughs, icons and wallpapers, maps, and nine different OSTs (including some for campaigns inside the games which were added after game release).
If you try to launch the "game", it will only open a Windows Explorer window at the installation folder of all these extras.
Even late, knowledge is power.
