Description

If you're a Bioshock fan you've probably noticed the amount of dead cats in the game. That's odd enough in itself, but if you drop a cat just right on a dead splicer's hand they'll start moving! Unlike regular drop and settle animation, when you set the cat down its head keeps going at the same momentum, almost like it came back to life and is nuzzling the splicer.

The first time I did this in the garden area it was utterly creepy- so of course I wanted to see if I could get the other cats in the game to do the same thing! Only after I placed this cat on the splicer and made it all happy all the other dead cats in the game vanished and didn't reappear until I restarted a fresh new game. Major bug or Easter Egg? I'm not sure!

The first part shows an undead cat head rubbing a splicer in Bioshock I. The second part shows how to get it to do that. The last part shows that the cats still do this in Bioshock II.

I can't get the frozen cat or the cat you shake out of the birdcage to do this though.
