Launch Metal Gear Online, either directly or via the MGSV:TPP main menu.

Press enter once in the Metal Gear Online main menu.

Press Esc(ape) once you are in freeplay (you stood up from your chair)

Go down to options and select it.

Go to Control Settings/Game Settings

Go down to the bottom where it says Game Type to Start and select MGO

Select Ok and you can get out of the menu.

Congrats! You can now launch MGO 'directly' without having a shortcut or doing external methods.

Not. First launch MGSV and after all info game close and launch MGO.
