After the collapse of Neter's oil economy, the Twilight Guard Air Force needed a improved multipurpose long range interceptor to replace the aging Strike Pegasus fleet. The LJF43A is lightweight fighterbomber built off the previous designs of the Strike Pegasus and the Firebird. It builds from the twin turbofan design with a heavier airframe capable of carrying more weapons. Because of this, it is slightly slower than the Strike pegasus but carries 4 micromissiles that can be used to destroy aircraft and small ships.

It can outrun and outgun an X4 but don't expect it to break turn fight in a 1 on 1.
