Description

This is a video of a clean (not flawless, but clean) run of a highly difficult track in Distance, a survival racing game.

The track is Colorless by shadowpawn and requires advanced use of your thrusters and boost to navigate this nightmare of a track since flying is disabled. It was recorded in first person, as this is my preferred playing style.

I uploaded this video to hopefully give some people who are having trouble with this course an idea of what to do to get through it and improve for similar courses in the future like Emptiness and Thrustration. This course was what helped me better understand some of the finer points of Distance's mechanics. Just as a note: I did skip a portion of this track in the very beginning of the video by taking an easy shortcut, but the rest of the track was played the way it was originally intended.

Some essential mechanics used in the making of this video are:

-Using thrusters on the ground. Rotating your car forwards allows you to stick to any surface without falling off (for the most part) which is especially useful when you're upside down and the track starts sloping away from you. Thrusters can also be used to turn more quickly from side to side. 
-Using boost in the air. Doing this will propel you in the direction your car is pointing. This is ESSENTIAL for completing this course and you'll see me use it combined with rotating my car for almost every section of this track.
