The Forest Preset (READ DESCRIPTION TO INSTALL)

**Please read the instructions below to install this mod correctly!**

-This mod will NOT work if you subscribe to it (Don't worry! Installing is easy!)
-This mod was created by Vinny1919 on NexusMods. I am uploading it here with his approval.

WHAT IS THIS MOD?
This is an ENB created for The Forest which uses ReShade Framework to give supported games a darker post-processing effect. According to the author, this preset is capable of working on other games including Arma III and Killing Floor 2. I've only tested it on Left 4 Dead 2. Check out the screenshots above.

TO INSTALL
1) Download the mod: http://www36.zippyshare.com/v/WLYwCCKU/file.html
2) Unpack the .rar using 7-zip or a similar tool for .rar files.
3) Simply extract/drop the ReShade folder, d3d9.dll, dxgi.dll, ReShade.fx into:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2
4) Start up the game and enjoy the new look!

When starting L4D2, there will be a brief pause as the mod loads. This is normal, and it shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

TO UNINSTALL:
Simply delete the files from this mod.

WORRIED ABOUT VAC BAN? (You won't get banned)
This mod uses Reshade and therefore should not cause a VAC ban, but in case you're still worried, follow these steps:
Go into the ReShade folder, open common.cfg, search for #define RFX_DepthBufferCalc, and change the value to 0. After that, add the line #define RFX_PseudoDepth 1.
This should disable access to the depth buffer and instead calculate it. Then this mod will not touch the game.

TAKING SCREENSHOTS: For some reason this mod will not be visible if you take regular Steam screenshots. Instead, use Fraps and set a screenshot hotkey.
