The process of updating your item.
Here is the 6 steps required to update an existing vehicle/station blueprint.

Step 1 : Your item must published on the workshop, because then you wouldn't need to be doing this.
Step 2 : Make your changes on the ORIGINAL GRID, otherwise it will not overwrite the existing workshop item when you go to upload it.

Step 3 : Copy the NEW/MODIFIED design of your ship into your clipboard, but don't paste it.

Step 4 : Select the OLD/UNMODIFIED design and click "Replace with Clipboard."

Step 5 : Publish it AGAIN from the same, ORIGINAL grid.

Step 6 : You're finished! It should have updated, if your not sure, then check the item's "change log." There should be 2 logs now instead of 1.

For Scripts :
Thanks to user p3st|cIdE for finding out about this, I tend to not work in scripts at all.
"FYI With in-game script re-uploading, I've run across a strange issue where it often won't allow me to re-publish (after going into programmable block, click Edit, then click Browse Workshop, then Replace from Editor on the old script, then Details, then ...) it says Failed to connect to Steam Workshop or some such. The solution I found was to publish something else (some random ship blueprint or whatever) which establishes a good Workshop connection, then try to publish the in-game script again and it works."

Updated to reference the original grid for better clarity.
Also Ctrl + C is to copy what you are looking at.

It does not work for me... if I replace the BP published before steam creates a new workshop BP even with original grid... so ctrl-c or ctrl-b the overwriting the original bp (previously published) doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to add screen shots to your work shop items

What he is not mentioning is you need to have kept the original Blueprint and click "replace with clipboard" on that and not the published blueprint you are subscribed to and has been added to your list, if you are like me and did a clean up while following his instructions and delete the original one to make your list less confusing then you have completely screwed yourself.:steamfacepalm:

The Auther asumes you know how to copy to the clip board. You use Ctrl+C to copy the item? If not that is why you can't replace with the clip board.
