Forerunner Ring World Sentinel (Shields)

The Ring World Sentinel, also called the Z-1500 Automated Systems drone or simply Sentinel, is a small automated drone utilized by the Forerunners. Their main task is to care for the giant Halo ring structures in the absense of their extinct creators.

The Sentinel is commonly seen patroling key areas of the Halo ring installations, sometimes in large numbers. They serve as a sort of gaurd dog, equipped with an energy weapon, light shielding and a spotlight to hunt down intruders in dark areas. The Ring World Sentinels have been encountered on the Halo Installations, the Ark, and even the Threshold Gas Mine.

Although able to move fast within the atmosphere of a planet, the Ring World Sentinel cannot move in space. Can be brought down with some small arms fire.
