The_Roman_Legion_ FOR THE (Dresden's "fall of the eagles mod")

Description
By request of; ornop
This is a compatible version to give 240 troops to the Armoured Legionary unit. Not for use without fall of the eagles mod unless you want to have an over power unit that throws off the balance in the game in vinilla.

For vinilla version please refer to original mod. WARNING: (Not compatible together) Use one or the other.

Melee yeah they shouldn't be able to have strong melee since they use a gladius.

I will drop it down some.

Awesome, glad to see things updated. Last time I played this it was way too strong, perhaps you could decrease its melee attack a little?

I capped it to 10 in the new mod.

Here is the new update with hollow square formation and shield now protects against projectiles while in testudo head is protected.

I tried to do the religion thing however because of the engine 100% roman pagan religion so would never see these units.

I've since stopped playing FOTE altogether because it became clear it won't be updated XD but man I had a lot of fun with your mod man

I was just thinkling of that maybe I can limit the Roman Legion to Rome only

You get Legionaries
Toughest, strongest, cheapest because they are land owners! Only the most elite of elites join the the ranks of ancient roman legionaries.
Good luck I am out of country so.. Won't be back to my lab for a few months.

It would be great if you could tweak this mod further to make the legion be available at level 4 barracks, or at least put a cap on the unit, or even make it so it is available only under Pagan religion. If doing this may diminish the popularity of your mods, you could simply release another version with these tweaks.. Just a suggestion because I don't like being able to recruit very OP Segemented Legionnaires right from the start.
