Description
No Longer Supported as I stopped playing Vanilla X2 a while back.
I've moved all my resources into the WotC Expansion now and play that exclusively.

The Rifleman Class is designed to be a versatile combat unit. It can specialize as either a Frontline Assault Type or Overwatch Support type. This class borrows a lot from the Ranger and Specialist and is better used for players no longer using the vanilla classes.

Allowed Weapons:
Rifle
Pistol

Squaddie Perks:
Pistol Standard Shot
Run and Gun

/Assault Tree
Tactical Sense (+5 Defense and +2 HP) [Cross Class Allowed]
Sprint (Gain +4 Mobility when used, free action. 2 Turn cooldown)
Stick and Move (+5 Defense and +2 Mobility) [Cross Class Allowed]
Hip Fire (Take a free shot with your rifle at a small aim penalty. 4 turn cooldown)
Reposition (If you score a kill get 1 free action to move along with a small mobility boost)
Rapid Fire

/SupportTree
Covering Fire
Steady (Spend 1 Action to gain +15 Aim) [Cross Class Allowed]
Warden (Grants +10 Aim on reaction fire and reaction fire can critically hit)
Pin Fire (Deals no damage, disorients an enemy. 2 Turn cooldown, uses 2 ammo.)
Holo Targeting
Overkill (Keep performing reaction shots in overwatch as long as you have ammo and don't miss)

GTS skill:
Fire Support (+10 Defense and +10% Aim)

The newest version of the Rifleman can be found in the Longwar Perk Pack; I will provide a non-Longwar Perk Pack version of this Rifleman when the War of the Chosen update comes out but it will come as a class pack (you will be able to pick and choose what ones you don't want). I'm not sure if I have enough perks for it though, although if I can fill 3 trees I'm sure I can do it.

I'm still using it, just coming back for a short play through. My semester starts on the day War of the Chosen releases and nursing school takes 110% of my life once the semester kicks off, so I won't likely get to play it until the holidays. Thanks for the mod, it's been a go to for me every play through.
