"The lowness and angle of these displacements aren't problematic in the slightest." They are. Stop acting as if you removed the clips, recompiled that section and walked over them.

The lowness and angle of these displacements aren't problematic in the slightest. I tested it myself. In some occasions, yes, clipping is better. However, if you don't need them, don't use them.

When working with displacements like these, you're better off putting playerclips around them to avoid any spots where a player could get stuck or enter a surf.
