Kingdom Death: Monster (Core Game)

Description
Kingdom Death: Monster is a fully cooperative tabletop hobby game experience. Unite to survive by hunting monsters and collectively guiding the development of your settlement through a 25 year, self-running campaign. Every choice - from each showdown space moved, each desperately crafted piece of gear, to what Principles your settlement upholds - can have lasting impact on this highly replayable and challenging game experience.

This game was created by Adam Poots, and I in no way own or claim to own any content that is within this mod. If you like the game please support the creator.

I have uploaded this mod for people who own the game and may wish to show it to others who may be on the fence.
There exists no rulebook scans that I can locate and the rulebook is a requirement for play as such you will only be able to play the prolouge set up. You can find this on youtube in meny different places.

Check out Bobsen's Mod for some models of the minatures that come with this game!: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=620390853&tscn=1455130035

Wasn't the original mod pulled down by it's author at a request by Adam Poots (after having received a request to pull it down by several backers)? You probably should not put this up again...

Updated the box to closer match the actual size and added a link in notepad for the prolouge section of the Rulebook

Yes you do need the rulebook to play the full game but most videos you'll find on youtube will show you the prolouge or at least enough to give you a basic understanding of the game to enjoy it

do you need the rulebook to play the game? Don't you refer to the rulebook for chart results, etc.?

This is an outstanding game. It takes a while to play(It can be 20+ hours, if you get lucky and survive that long), and if you play a non-solo game then you're going to need some people willing to sink some serious time into a settlement. You can break it up and play one or two 'Lantern Years' per sit-down, though. You don't need to do it all at once, obviously. Everything gets recorded between sessions, so it's easy to start back up.

Probably the funnest board game I have ever played, but it's most certainly not for everyone. I love how hardcore, unforgiving, and difficult it can be. I also love that it reminds me of BERSERK!

It's a lot of fun to play solo, and this mod is excellent for that, but it was the most fun to actually sit down and play with my friends on a real table. Just resist the urge to cheat and enjoy the ride!
