Save Scum Roller

Description
Are you an unlucky XCOM player?
Do the RNG gods hate you?
Do you not understand why loading the same save file over and over again and taking the same action always has the same consequence?

Look no further! With this mod, you can reseed the game's RNG at any time! Couldn't kill that muton in time? Load your old save up and hit Save Scum and try again! If you're feeling really unlucky, you can just hit Save Scum whenever you want and hope that this time the dice rolls will be in your favor.

Note: Currently if you fire up a save game inside of a tactical mission, this mod will not take effect until you've returned to base and you go on another mission. I'll see about getting that fixed up in a future release.

I see no save scum button what so ever. Just "Load Game".

There is a LW variant of this mod that apparently does work with WotC, as long as your squad has a default soldier class [ranger, specialist, sharpshooter, grenadier] with it [or so the messages report].

The game also does not appear to be saving die rolls, though I think it is keeping track of reloading saves, as continuous efforts at trying to scum out a better RNG resault tend to gravitate toward the FAIL end of the spectrum.

Why doesn't this have a duplicate posting on the nexus? I can't imagine the reasoning. It would take 5 minutes. Please stick it up there. A lot of people don't like the Steam workshop UI or mod implementation. Can you put it up there for us?

This mod is broken in LW2, not sure if it's a basegame change or an LW2 one, but it fails to patch the templates, so you end up not getting the ability.

I went ahead and edited it to use a newer, more compatible method. Normally I'd ask the author prior to releasing, but seeing as gamedevjosh hasn't even been on Steam for over 90 days, that's a little less than possible.

I'll be posting it shortly. GDJ, if you come back and want me to take it down, let me know.
