Technician Class Mod

Description
This mod is the 2nd in a series of class mods by ABigHairyMonster. It is not intended to be fully balanced for hard playthroughs. While balance with respect to base classes is considered, I make these for my own amusement, and I prefer to play on easier non-ironman difficulties for a fun tactical wargame. So if you are looking for hyper balanced classes to use in extreme difficulties, this mod is not for you.

The Technician class specializes in the destruction and control of armored and robotic units. Its Demolisher tree provides a heavy mix of cover destruction and armor shredding abilities, and its Operater tree provides the same utility as a Combat Hacker.

The demolisher tree doesn't really make sense since it doesn't make any use of the gremlin.

Dunno if you have seen this, but this reddit thread shows how to get rid of unecessary files in XCOM 2 mods that only make it harder to load:

If you have already, then just ignore my post :)

@Coolclaytony In the works is something kind of along those lines - an intel / item gathering specialist. Will have combat hacker stuff on one side, and some unique skills on the other half that center around perks that improve skulljacking or loot drops. Still working out how to get custom skills to work the way I want them too though.

Interesting idea though to give them the passive research boosts. It might be possible - after all, the character pool is used for scientists and engineers, so the game might just be giving them a kind of perk. Depends on whether thats the case or if they are technically a resource.

You know what would sweet, a mod that makes it so you can deploy researchers and engineers as their own soldier class. Like researchers can have abilities that let them anylize enemies and gain info that improves your research capabilities (at the risk loosing a researcher in combat), and engineers can be strictly suited for interaction with machines and weapons, like a criplingly overspecialized specialist with maybe an added ability to contruct turrets.

@Big Hairy Monster, thank so much for all those new classes collection! I will report to you which of these classes is my favorite on the field, testing all of them. Only the WarLeader class i will take extra caution avoiding creating errors with other leader class mod with very similar perks & effect / buffs on the team / squad during the missions. :creep:

Looks great, however could you upload this on Nexusmod.com as I am tired of having to restart games when the mod gets changed and ends up corrupting my current save file. Many Thanks.
