Phoenix-class Assault Ship (ODST Drop Pods + Dropships)

The Phoenix-class assault ship is a heavy support ship classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited to planetary invasion and ground support.

History
One of the largest ships in the UNSC Navy, the Phoenix-type ships were originally made as harmless colony vessels. However, necessity is the mother of invention, and the Phoenix were converted into huge warships. Regardless, they still fulfill their original purpose, able to deploy whole armies of human troops and vehicles onto planets. Its armament, while light, is meant to support ground forces. Remarkably, for its size, it can also fly in atmosphere. The Phoenix can be equipped with Oxen drop ships for deploying ground structures and ODST drop pods for insertion of special forces.

Tactics
The Phoenix is lightly armed and performs poorly in combat against most Covenant warships. However, it can transport a large army, produce endless supplies, take out targets from orbit with it's MAC and deploy ODST's, as well as deploy a number of structures to start a base. Use it when colonizing or invading a planet once it's orbital fleets are destroyed.

To use this ship: This ship has an expansive (and rather dark) interior with a pilot seat and control panels to control frigates, fighters, and destroyers.

PS: This ship is based on _Unauthorized_'s build, with a LOT of details added and a redesigned interior. Go give that guy some love for his awesome builds that inspire my own!
