I’m amazed at this article! Gobsmacked. And my lower jaw will never fit correctly in my mouth again. WTF!
Really? You not only got JohnnyLump to talk extensively about the Long War mod, but you also get Firaxis Lead Engineer for XCOM 2 to talk about the impact it had on Firaxis and what they learned from it? And you didn’t break a sweat? [/quote]
I'll add that it's really interesting to hear their tips, experiences and also their critical assessment of their own achievements. Thanks again for the link
One other nice thing about Conquest of Elysium 4 is that It's also really easy to mod with just GIMP and Notepad++ (my 8 year old daughter has a fairy mod she made before I did anything, with lots of massively overpowered free summons like poo firing dogs, fire-breathing raindeer, poison spitting cats and other silly things... she told me to make my own mods... so I did)
Just reached 27min in WeXchange #64 about modding in games. it's interesting to hear about modding in games, do you have a link to what you discussed with Derek Paxton and others? If it's not uploaded yet I'll look forward to it later.
